Dreams La Romana Resort & Spa - All Inclusive

Beautiful property with nice dining options and plenty to do for a family with young children. Everything was super clean and the staff was very kind and helpful. We were happy with most of the food options (would not recommend the rib eye at The Grill, it was thin, dry and hard to eat). We did the Enclave upgrade which I felt was worth it for the addituonal meal options. We used the main pool most of the time though because it was better for our kids who are still young. Also the Enclave rooms are by where they have weddings and events, so Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights were quite loud until about 10pm or so...at least that was our experience so maybe inquire with the property about room location if that would bother you. Overall we really enjoyed our stay. The resort is beautiful and everyone who works there is so friendly and ready to help, they were all great!

the staff was amazing. Antonio our butler was so much more than we expected. The enclave area was well worth the additional cost. Food was great!!

Beautiful property! Attentive staff

We stayed here for 6 nights across in December 2024 and had a wonderful time. The most impressive thing was the grounds. They were beautifully kept with gorgeous trees and vegetation. The pools were large with plenty of space and the water park was a big hit with our kids. The beach was lovely too, and having all these different areas to visit each day meant our 6 and 9 year olds were happy and entertained. The staff were lovely too. The only thing I think could be improved was the food. We tried a couple of the restaurants but you can't make reservations so this meant waiting behind 7-10 other families which didn't really work with hungry, impatient kids! Also the food in the restaurants didn't appear to be a better quality than the buffet (I had a pasta dish in the Italian restaurant where the prawns were a strange texture and definitely weren't fresh), so we stuck to the buffet after that to make the most of having a wider choice. It was also a shame that menus at the restaurants were via a QR code - I like to leave my phone in the room on holiday. Overall we had a great time and I would recommend for families!

Magical experience!

Loved the resort, everything was close by and they had a little of everything. Food was decent 4/5. Our only complaint was the spa 2/5.

Public beach was very loud at times. Some of the restaurant experiences were good. Not great. As far as food quality and service.

The hotel is beautiful, VERY clean and the staff very welcoming and accommodating. I went for a weekend wedding and had a wonderful time. The only set back was our room had a moldy smell (partial ocean view) and my parents room smelled like pest control chemicals. My husband and I enjoyed a couples massage at the beautfil spa however, I did not receive the $25 per person Expedia credit for spa services that I was entitled to and had to request multiple times the bottle of wine (a welcome gift) as an Expedia VIP member. Their seems to be a lack of communication between the hotel staff and Expedia.

Beach ,food and coffee station in family site was excellent.
