SpringHill Suites by Marriott Richmond North/Glen Allen

We were looking to spend the night without breaking the bank. A bit dated, but everything was clean, parking lot well lit and quiet.

Room was dirty!! Fridge had food in it. Waste cans were full of garbage, an outlet had been burned, sheets were dirty, no shampoo, light flickered, hair in the shower, pee on the toilet.

The room we were given first was not cleaned. Sheets were slept in and towels were still dirty on the floor. Given a 2nd room and the reading lights in the bed didnt work and there was a hole in the wall where an outlet used to be.

We stayed four days and housekeeping never came, no fresh towels. All employees were very kind and friendly. The hotel was pretty clean for being under construction but the sheets didn’t fit the bed properly and had to be pulled back on several times throughout stay. Breakfast area was well kept and delicious.

We didn't like the costumer service and the room.

This stay could be summed up : if it could go wrong, it did go wrong. Our first room was musty smelling and had no TV reception. A so-called maintenance man came to check on it, said he knew what was wrong and would be back; an hour and a half later never returned. The front desk moved us to another room, but the TV remote batteries were dead; had to replace them. In the shower the soap dispenser was empty. In trying to get some ice for our water bottles, ice machine empty. This will be our last stay here.And the room we were moved to was by the side entrance, so every one’s comings and goings were heard all night. And the first room had filthy carpet with pet stains and mold in the bathroom tub. All in all, a disaster!

Alles etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Es hat komisch gerochen im ganzen Haus. Der Pool war geschlossen, weil das Wasser umgekippt ist.

Geruch. Alte Einrichtung und mangelnde Sauberkeit.
