Hilton Aruba Caribbean Resort & Casino

Quite noisy at night in the Aruba tower junior suite to say the least. We only came because we had a captive insurance meeting for my husband’s companies….. didn’t appreciate the booking process and trying to speak to a actual person let alone a person that worked in concierge is a no go. Totally different experience from another trip that I booked for my family in Eagle Beach in May at the Bucuti and Tara. Any who … this place is great for families or for rowdy folks that like to party like it’s 1999. Hey I aint judging it’s just not for me. Honestly the property is beautiful and maintained well and housekeeping is fantastic. Food Meh… but if you want a lively experience the Hilton will certainly not disappoint. Loved the inside dining experience at sunset grill quite impressive. I loved Angel at the palapas activity tent and the palapas are lovely but the service is lacking and the drinks …. Well there is not any alcohol in it at all!!! Get your own drinks at the shore club or hit the tradewinds shop in the Aruba tower for your own booze enjoyment! Loved Oscars Market and the friendly people who worked there. For me Imma stick to my boutique hotels….

Family experience is great. Not a big fan of the casino. I have a rule of thumb that bad luck is not an accident at a casino. Been to this place twice, and 5 of first 10 rolls on craps tables are 7’s both times. Maybe it is a coincidence, but I don’t argue with bad luck.

Please be very careful if choosing this hotel. Our experience started off poorly. When we arrived at the hotel we were a few hours later then our expected time due to a security issue that closed the Aruba airport for hours. Upon checking into the hotel we were assigned a room with two double beds not the king size bed that was on our reservation. The front desk clerk did not want to correct this issue, stating that the hotel was fully booked. At one point we were informed that the reason was because we booked from a third party (travel agent) another reason was that we were not Hilton members, (which was not true because we have a Hilton member number). We also talked to other guests who booked directly through Hilton and had similar issues. It took two days and a lot of stress to be moved to another room. Things went from bad to worse being that the next room the mattress was as hard as cement and the view looked like a third world country under attack. There is a lot of construction going on in this hotel. One pool was completely closed. So after a few restless nights we went to the manager Germaine who did her best to move us away from the construction area with a slightly more comfortable bed. During our 9 day stay we had to change rooms three times. This was not acceptable. Germaine was the most professional and caring employee we met at the front desk. No vacation should ever be this stressful. I do want to mention that the location of this hotel is great. The breakfast staff, beach/pool staff, and housekeeping staff were excellent. The front desk employees are in need of some intense training.

The property is beautiful and in the perfect location on the island. I think it has the nicest beachfront. The restaurants and bars are comfortable and appealing. All the facilities and activities offered for kids and adults are wonderful. Everything is very well kept. What made the trip extraordinary was everyone working at the hotel we encountered. I have never been around such a friendly and accommodating group of people. Thank you for all your hospitality!

This is my third stay here and will probably be my last. “Upgraded” to a ocean view room. I see a sliver of ocean from the back of the Curacao tower (6th floor). As I write this, it is 2:27 am and the music is blasting. It is a nightmare. The room was recently renovated but is small. The elevators are nasty. Slow and they smell all the time. I dont want to stay anywhere where I need earplugs to sleep. This is my 8th time and never had a bad time until now. Complete trash.

We just completed our 7th stay at the Hilton Aruba, and our fifth consecutive trip since 2022. We now come back every year for our wedding anniversary and thus far we have never been disappointed. The location is paramount, and the staff are a well oiled machine - we’ve met the same friendly staff year after year and it’s obvious they are a tight knit family; they all take their jobs very seriously and universally strive to make the guest experience top notch. I have never seen such hard working staff at a hotel before - I hope the management appreciates their efforts. The food is consistently good, though I do have an ongoing complaint about the lobster roll - it used to be amazing, but the past 2 years it has morphed into a $36 mayo drenched hot dog roll. I sent it back last year, and I sent it back this year after first asking if it was good and being told it was large and delicious. A small quibble, but a letdown nonetheless. I otherwise ate the fish tacos for lunch all week long and they were delicious. Laguna for breakfast is solid, and the omelette lady is fantastic. I think she was there every single morning so I hope she gets a day off! We tend to eat offsite for dinner but we do have our anniversary dinner every year at the Sunset Grille and every year they give us a complimentary dessert with a little “Happy Anniversary” decor thingy. So special. Food is good here but it’s getting very pricey for the taste, portion size and quality (solid…but there are better options across the street). We dined one night at the new Shore Club and were dumbfounded they offer the same lunch menu as dinner - that’s a change from the old Gilligans, and it’s weird. We ended up having a hamburger and nachos for dinner since we didn’t want to repeat our lunch choices. We didn’t mind the second pool being closed for renovation because we stayed on the beach the whole trip, but it seemed the open pool never really got super crowded when we walked by, so that seemed good. The renovations have definitely made a positive difference overall and we are already planning our next trip in 2027. Probably can’t afford to stay in the new tower, but that’s ok - we love the Bonaire tower and prefer it there. Room was always cleaned on time, all our requests (not many) were met, and our expectations were met or exceeded the entire trip. We really love it here. Thank you to everyone at the Hilton Aruba for making our 7th trip here super enjoyable and relaxing. Can’t wait to see you next year - keep our room ready! PS - there is a really negative review on here with someone complaining about the second pool being closed and the website not describing that, along with a bunch of other gripes. Ignore that review. The website is very clear about the renovation status and the negative experience described by that reviewer has NEVER been our experience after 7 different stays. We have traveled all over the Caribbean and sampled all the major Hilton’s - the Hilton Aruba is the crown jewel, hands down. Now if they just improved the lobster roll, everything would be perfect. (kidding)

Our stay at Hilton Caribbean resort and spa was absolutely unforgettable, and much of that can be credited to the outstanding service provided by the staff. A special mention goes to CKaren De La Cruz and Vicky at the Beach Club concierge, whose professionalism and warm hospitality truly elevated our experience. As a frequent visitor to Aruba, having stayed at various hotels, I can honestly say that the level of service provided by CKaren was unmatched. Her attentiveness, combined with her friendly demeanor, made us feel incredibly welcome. During the New York blizzard, when many of our flights were canceled, CKaren went above and beyond to help us with alternative arrangements and ensure our stay remained stress-free. It’s rare to encounter such genuine care and dedication, and it made a world of difference. Thanks to CKaren and the team, our visit to Aruba was everything we hoped for and more. We’ll certainly be returning!

I stayed at the Hilton Aruba Caribbean Resort & Casino and had a wonderful experience overall. The property is beautifully maintained, with lush tropical landscaping and direct access to a wide, clean stretch of Palm Beach. The beach staff were attentive and made it easy to relax with lounge chairs and shade whenever we needed it. The rooms were comfortable and well-kept, though a bit more modern décor would make them feel even more upscale. Housekeeping was consistent and thorough throughout our stay. The pool areas were lively but never overcrowded, and there were plenty of activities available for both relaxation and entertainment. Dining on-site was convenient, with several good options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The quality of the food and service made it all the much better. Especially watching the sunset at the restaurant. The casino and evening entertainment also added a fun element without being disruptive to guests who preferred a quieter atmosphere. What really stood out was the staff — friendly, professional, and genuinely welcoming. Their hospitality made the trip feel special and stress-free. The manager on duty was Anastacia and she immediately recognized me as a Hilton Honors member and went out my way to improve my stay even by recommending an upgrade of my room to a better view. Overall, the Hilton Aruba is an excellent choice for travelers looking for a beachfront resort in a prime location, with strong service and plenty of amenities. I would happily stay here again.
