Hotel is beautiful and there are several bars and restaurants to enjoy. Pool and spa facilities were nice - although having to book in for a one-hour slot takes away some of the enjoyment and means you have to have your whole day planned out.

The pillows were awful, you put your head on them and they disappeared! Not great for a good nights sleep. Breakfast was tasty but service was slow, and they arrived with only my husbands meal. Eggs were undercooked and cooked breakfast was lukewarm. They offer a complimentary shuttle to St Andrews which is a nice but we were unable to use it because it was always fully booked - perhaps adding additional runs on the half hour would be good?

Great location , lovely views , very helpful staff , the staff could not do enough to help. Excellent rooms , spacious and comfortable

Breakfast a bit of a problem. Queue to get seated, long wait to order hot choices then even longer to actually serve it. They had 2 goes at serving hot fried eggs and failed. The cold choices were fantastic and well laid out for self serve. They were understaffed as tables were not being cleared
