Not a thing amazing hotel and staff

long queues for breakfast each morning approx 20-25 minutes No staff serving within the sports bar. Arrived back at my room at 5-00pm and room had not been change that day, Had to book the pool area which was not advised on check in, pool was very cold on both days i attended. Had to return my meal at the club house due to poor quality of food, requested pot of gravy and was told by the kitchen they could not provide. All above points highlighted I would not expect from a 5 star hotel.

Stunning hotel, beautiful scenery. Rooms fantastic. Lots of lovely places to have a drink - breakfast unbelievable!

The staff were nice and helpful. The lady who was dealing with it tried her best to resolve the issues but unfortunately had been terrible to start with that nothing would change our mind in staying. Wish I had taken photos of it all but was too busy trying to make sure our 1 year old daughter didn't get into anything

I had been phoned previous day to check in to make sure everything was all good for us. Apologised about not getting the rose petals i requested about 2 months prior, that was fine. I told them it was just because we were going to be married the day of check in and they said they would put it on the system so we would be addressed as Mr and Mrs as we arrived. That never happened which is fine but got to the room and the telly greeted me as Mr in my maiden name. The cot for our daughter had been put right next to a plug switched on but nothing in it. The first thing she did was go to put her finger to it, so had to move cot to middle of the floor so she could not reach anything dangerous. I found a small rubber band on the floor, bits of bran flakes, a dusty pair of trousers down next to the luggage stand. Cracks on ceiling by shower, marble on sink edge cracked, carpet stained, carpet fraying. Scratchy dressing gown, slippers that looked like chip board underneath. Look out the window to the right and you can see into somebody else's room. Could hear stuff being broken by housekeeping while cleaning rooms. We were in the hotel for less than 24 hours before we decided it was best to get a refund for remaining nights. We were looking to feel like heaven in a 5 star hotel but it barely felt like 4 stars

The Room was lovely and had a lovely view. The Spa was great myself and my daughter had massages. The only thing i was disappointed in was La Cucina the Italian Restaurant the food wasn't as good as previously and felt was overpriced for what i got.

I didn't think La Cucina was as good as the last time i had went. Also when we went to Breakfast i asked when seated for Tea it didn't arrive then i asked again and i still didn't get it so by the time i had my breakfast so wasn't much point asking again
