The Betsy Hotel, South Beach

Our stay at The Betsy Hotel in South Beach was absolutely incredible from beginning to end. The hotel itself is beautiful, elegant, and perfectly located, but what truly made our experience unforgettable was the exceptional level of service. A special thank you to Juan and Fritzner for going above and beyond to make our stay so memorable. Their professionalism, kindness, and genuine attention to detail made us feel welcomed and valued every step of the way. Whether it was helping with recommendations, accommodating requests, or simply providing warm and attentive service, they consistently exceeded expectations. The level of hospitality at The Betsy is truly top-tier, and Juan and Fritzner are a big reason why our stay was so special. We sincerely hope management recognizes them for the amazing job they do. We will absolutely be returning and highly recommend The Betsy to anyone visiting South Beach!

We recently stayed at The Betsy for two nights the end of a cruise ahead of returning home. We arrived early morning on what happened up be my birthday and although check in was not till 4pm , we arrived at 9am due to having to be off the ship early and the hotel had no issue holding out luggage and allowing is to us the facilities We were greeted by a happy member of the team who asked if we would like a birthday drink to start the day. Once bags had been dropped we took full advantage of using the roof top pool which was very nice and a lovely set up. Were were then contacted around 11.30 as our room was ready. The room was very spacious with a nice balcony over looking the courtyard and had all we needed. The resort fee includes bottled water which was a nice touch and we were even given bottles when we left the hotel to walk through the city. We were then presented with chocolate and wine for my birthday which was a lovely thought. The hotel is situated at the quite end of Ocean Drive and is in walking distance to all you need. The atmosphere in the lobby at night is fantastic with live music and is very social. We had breakfast once at the hotel and the food was very well presented,taste and plentiful. Towards the end of the stay we had an issue with our flights being cancelled and they rearranged. I would like to thank George on reception who is a credit to the team. He went out of his way to help with a late checkout on our last day nd had already helped with holding a room for a further night as a just incase while we sorted out the flights . Nothing was too much trouble. We have stayed in various hotels in Miami and have always choose differently when we return , however we can honestly say we will return to The Betsy next time we vacation here

Had the beat experience. Our waitress barbara gave impeccable service and remembered us by name and drink preferences. Every doorman was so helpful and kind, especially Juan who went above and beyond to help us with our bags. Will definitely come back. Hotel was super clean and we loved our rooms.

Had a wonderful stay at The Betsy! From the moment I arrived, the staff made all the difference. Jayemar at check-in was fantastic — warm, efficient, and had a great personality that instantly made me feel welcome. Juan was also incredibly helpful with my bags. It's the little touches of genuine hospitality that make a stay memorable. Highly recommend! C

Restaurant was really good. There was daily live jazz music on the lobby and bar area. From the morning till it's closure it was really happening and alive. With its design elements and architecture this hotel has a soul!

Genevieve. The most incredible service member. She is so kind, genuine, bright, caring, and fun! Such a joy to be around. Beyond hospitable. The lobby is fab, rooms are perfect, everyone is BEYOND kind and genuinely helpful. Everything - room, bathroom, pool, hallways are all so clean. Housekeeping does a really good job. AND there are two hotel pups! Betsy and Daisy. Find them in the lobby - they love attention and new friends. So much bang for your buck at this hotel. And FIND GENEVIEVE!!!

Perfect location at the quieter end of Ocean Drive. The swimming pool on the rooftop at 07:30 in the morning was worth getting up early for. The food was exceptional good ate for dinner and breakfast twice. Once during our stay there and then halfway through our 2 week MSC cruise came back to have the Betsy Breakfast 👍 As a musician I really appreciated the subtle but beautiful jazz piano playing in the background on an evening. Which also occurred in the daytime. The staff were very friendly and attentive but relaxed. Some 5 star hotels I’ve stayed in around the world can sometimes feel a bit stuffy and in your face all the time. This was definitely the right amount. The rooms were very well ventilated which coming from the UK where it was 08 degrees Celsius was lovely. Very well appointed rooms and very nice decor the bed was very nice. There was a lot of culture about the hotel with its well known history of the biggest names in music in the Beatles having stayed there. There was a coffee shop and lunch place that we never got to try but would love too on a return visit! Also would’ve loved to have tried the main pool near reception. I know my wife and I as big dog lovers would’ve love to see the resident dogs but maybe next time.
