"Comfy hotel with many things near by"

The hotel is very nice and very clean. Some of the staff can come across quite cocky. The breakfast buffet isn't too bad. The gym facilities isn't that great (would be better if there was a swimming pool). The hotel is 10-15mins from the square which is lovely! Has many things near by which is very good!

"well located hotel with all th modern conveniences"

I was looking for a one night stay on the way to a tour of Italy. This hotel has great Wi-Fi and other conveniences for the business traveler. The room was very large - a suite with a beautiful view of Mt. Etna. The bathroom was large and the flooring and walls were the ubiquitous marble. The hotel is not new but it is in good condition and very clean.

"HORRIBLE!!!!"

DO NOT STAY HERE the hotel is disgusting. Their was water stains on the filthy carpets. It is far from the city center and a dangerous walk. The breakfast staff is very rude.

"Second Chance?"

Currently under investigation with general manager in order to clarify the behaviour on one of the staff (front desk) and on the Hotel Policies as applicable. Not releasing a positive review untill a reply is received. For now not raccomending the hotel

"Probably fancy in the 50's"

i stayed in this hotel for a night only. when we arrived the hotel didnt have any record of the reservation we made via hotels.com. after couple of minutes the issue was however solved and we got the key to the room...and what a room! it was probably one of the best in town in 1957 but in 2014 it looked miserable. nothing has been refreshed for many years (since the opening i would say), the carpet on the floor was brown and dusty, the room had a smell of old pipes and had no comfort whatsoever. Wifi was also only available for free in the lobby (again, welcome to 2014). on the plus aide, the staff was helpful and the breakfast waw really nice. But if i everfo back to Catania i know where NOT to go.

"located in city center. Walking distance to sites."

Comfortable hotel. Staff accomdating. cafes and restaurants at the door step. all within walking distance zero to15 minutes including the sea. friendly retails and restaurants. The hotel will coordinate any requirements or needs accordingly with a helpful attitude.
