Super 8 by Wyndham Ridgecrest

Checked in for a one night stay. Aside from some minor cosmetic issues in the room, all seemed okay until later in the evening when a bedbug was found on the floor of the bathroom and a second was in the tub. We travel often so we’ve done our research on bed bugs and are fairly well educated on what to look for. There was no mistaking these for some other type of bug! I had checked the bed upon check-in and that appeared fine. We switched rooms and the desk clerk was very accommodating. She said no other incidents had been reported so here’s hoping it was an isolated incident. The second room was less comfortable with a mattress that tilted and the whole floor was quite dirty. Wouldn’t stay here again.

Front desk check-in was great, and she was very helpful and accommodating.

Room smells dusty, staff/manager was great to talk to. Good location for Death Valley visitors.

The bathroom was to small for the door. .. bathroom door did not close all the way. .. overall the place was quite nice and peaceful. Very clean. Cable needs fixing.

The toilet had a problem as the water was running when I went into the room. Told management about the problem as I had to open the tank top to stop the water from running. Had to be and easer way to get the program on the tv People talking lound outside after midnight Friday and Saturday night. Something early Monday morning 4 am. No car noise but just people staying up outside smoking or drinking?

Toilet size is too, too, small. Being 6', 2", is a Big problem on a little toilet.

I enjoyed my stay, but there was a problem with check-in regarding my advance payment. However, that was resolved. The freezer in my refrigerator needs to be defrosted. All in all, my stay was fine.

I had to leave the motel as it was too dirty,there was poss. Blood stains on the sheets,I took pictures. The toilet broke and leaked water,staff was curt,unfriendly .Im requesting a refund for this stay as I had to book another room at another motel.

My room had construction done on it that had not been completed. Toilet wabbled, floor at doorway was not finished and unsafe. TV system was analog. The room I booked was not available because it had not been cleaned. They tried to send me to a different hotel.
