Residence Inn Milwaukee Downtown

Property was walkable to every part of downtown. Property is clean and area is nice. Perfect for a family.

They offer a large 2 bed/2bath suite with living area (with optional rollaway) and kitchen that worked well for our group of 6. It is centrally located on riverfront near the market and a close ride to ferry/ballpark/miller. Bedrooms were quiet and comfortable. Gym was nice quality. Small convenience shop in lobby. A breakfast is included.

The lighting in the vanity area of both bathrooms was the worst I’ve ever experienced, could hardly see to get ready. Housekeeping was every other day though they would refresh towels if requested at front desk. When I asked the person checking in abt nearby restaurants she said there was nothing other than a food court or subway nearby which turned out to be entirely untrue as a quick check of Yelp revealed (ended up choosing a wonderful Mediterranean restaurant a few minutes walk). No pool at all or outdoor spaces or many amenities on site.

This is a nice location near many restaurants n the river. Room was spacious and clean. Service was average (not overly friendly). Breakfast was a nice variety. Parking is $30 night. Don't bother paying more for a river view, they havr a wall out the windows that actually prohibits the view (well unless you are maybe 7' tall).

Upon check in my room contained tools and a maintenance cart. When I called the front desk she said to just push it out into the hallway.

Room was very big and spacious. Within walking distance of downtown attractions. Nice place to stay.

I have stayed at this location long term off and on over the last couple of years. What I can say is that they have improved greatly over that time. Their customer service is excellent. They quickly resolve any issues. The rooms are a little outdated but clean. The location is hard to beat right in the heart of downtown. The underground parking is a unique perk among the downtown hotels that is especially helpful in the winter. I highly recommend that you give this place a try.

Very nice! Did find some large chocolate candies behind a bed side table though… all good!
