InTown Suites Extended Stay Tuscaloosa, AL

The beds had hair all over the sheets. The furniture was stained and the mattress on the sofa bed...nasty. Front desk clerks were very nice. You get what you pay for.

We received a call while traveling that we had to be at InTown Suites by 7 pm because the desk closed at that time. We weren't sure if we would be able to make that and had to change our plans. We did not appreciate that they didn't let us know of the change of their close time at least a day earlier rather than 2 hours before close. We arrived at 6:57 p.m. and the person behind the desk told my husband that she had told him to be there before 7 pm and she wasn't sure if she would be able to check us in. She was able to do so, but the check in process took a long time. Also, when we arrived in our room, the TV was on a security camera channel. There were no plates, utensils, or cookware in the kitchen.

When I arrived the lady told me that the room they had me down for only had one bed and there were four of us. I had the confirmation email and the lady informed me that the type room I had booked was not even available at their property. She was very helpful and had a room with two beds available to give us.

I enquired of the hotel before I went about an elevator I was told they had one, I need one because my knees are bad, it's two buildings and I was put in the one with no elevator, my reservation was for 2 beds and pull out couch, I was not informed that my room would not have the couch. There was not enough towels in my room I called down to the office for extra was told they were coming never got them on Friday, Saturday lucky enough to catch Jessica (the bright part of the hotel staff and maid service) brought me towels but informed me because the hotel was extended stay the room I was in was not expected to get any room service for a week. Who doesn't need clean towels everyday, cause I do. So I had to buy towels and wash them to prepare for my departure on Sunday. I will return to Tuscaloosa but never to this location of intown suites. I feel like I was lied too and misinformed.

Booked a 2 bed queen , got a queen bed , went to see if I could get another room and they said it was expedias fault , manager was VERY rude I don't see how she has a job still , but longer story short I got my money back and went to another hotel !

Late checkin was convenient and easy. Night staff was pleasant and met us. The pillows were only complaint they were very thin.

The staff was difficult to find to check in when I arrived. Office not clearly marked to identify where to check in and when calling the numbers given did not get much support. The office emlloyee was pleasent when we found the office but that was the only thing that was remotely right with this property. The property was indisrepair

The manager was extremely rude. Not friendly at all she was even mean to her employees. They seemed pretty afraid of her.

First of all, all adults staying on the property has to give a copy of their drivers license, not just the person responsible for the bill. There were 4 adults in our party and we were only given one key card. When we requested a second one the lady looking in a plastic bin and stated they didn’t have any extras. There were two bathrooms with two towels in each bathroom and a partial roll of toilet paper. Btw there is no housekeeping service. It has a kitchen with no dishes, cookware, etc. The odor in the room was horrendous. There were stains all over the sofa. Very disgusting. The staff that we dealt with was the rudest I’ve ever seen.

The hotel was relatively close to the football stadium and restaurants which was convenient. Small things like ice maker not working in room, shower head broken, and smokers in nearby rooms disappointed.
