Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Albuquerque - North Balloon Fiesta Park by IHG

Wasn't a quite place to stay but the room and service made up for it.

The room was nice, but restroom was a little dirty. Always travel w/wipes to wipe counter tops. Door would not catch. Door plate was loose and had to muscle it to close it. Minor stuff, but was affordable.

We were sent to three different rooms due to broken couch, in one room. Broken bathroom door lock in another room. The third room was okay. Front desk lady was a little rude when our key kept getting deactivated.

The place was great and the staff wonderful. Had 2 live roachs in our room.

The stay overall was good only criticism would be around breakfast. It wasn't being restocked frequently breakfast is from 630-10 but by 8 they no longer restocked bacon and other pastries and desserts.

We asked to clean our room and changed our sheets and they just make the beds with the same sheets. They didn’t even clean sinks or pick up trash. It’s been two weeks and I still haven’t gotten my deposite back.

While the staff here were super friendly and helpful, and there was complimentary water in the lobby, our room was a train wreck. The hallways looked liked they hadn’t been vacuumed in days. The room had no curtains and a parking floodlight shining in. Hubby had to request a blanket and sheet and weigh them down with water bottles and shoes to try and block some of the light. There was an empty plastic cup in the tub. Where there should have been door hooks on the back of the bathroom door, there were just multiple holes. Hanger in the closet was a piece of sharp broken wood. Beyond disappointed in this place.

This is one of the cleanest and nicest hotels I have stayed in. We come often to visit family and for fun.

Staff wasn't at the counter when trying to check in and probably had to wait 30mins for someone to come. The stay was alright, but then after leaving the hotel someone got into my room and booked a week stay and pulled over a $1000 from my account on the day of going to Boots in the Park and finding out I had no money when trying to make a purchase at the festival. So just that right there i informed the hotel that I needed my money for my trip and they just told me that I had to way 3 days first and then the next time I called they told me 5 days, than 5 days go by and nothing, then I called the hotel again and all they had to say was that they were sorry for ruining my weekend and that I had to wait for my money. It took 7 days just to receive my money back, and I tried to see what type of compensation they would give me for ruining something im not going to get back and for making me stuggle through my week because I had to wait for the money they took without my approval. This made me have to borrow money for gas just to get to work, but even with that they diding care, I never got any compensation, and I felt like they owed me something. I wasn't able to get food or drinks at the all day festival I was at, and that's not right that out of this whole situation I was the only one that suffered the consequences when the staff was so careless that they allowed someone to use my information and go into my room. I believe a weeks stay is something that should get approved only in person.
