Nice location but not a functionally laid out hotel. It’s over 3 buildings of which these are shared with a university which was super weird. This is a former prison and when not in your room it feels that way too. Dinner options are limited and staff made it feel like they do not want to be there. Breakfast was basic and not I what I am used to at a Marriott property. Rooms were nice once inside but TV channels all had interference. Not sure I would stay here again.

Terrific location at the V&A Waterfront. Large, comfortable room and an excellent breakfast with lots of options. The staff members were very friendly and helpful.

I liked location and room... did not like the glass bathroom/shower. Need more privacy in room when sharing it with someone else.

Booking process went easy and smooth and they were expecting us. The location is ideal for visiting the Cape Town City bowl with the waterfront literally on the front stoep. We booked two single beds but got two rooms with shared bathroom. A bonus indeed. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly.

Great proximity to VA Waterfront - quick walk. Clean & comfortable rooms but could use some touch ups. Breakfast was good with views of Table Mountain from the terrace. Hotel lacks common meeting/lounge spaces. Airport transfers were on time and efficient. This hotel seems overpriced but may just be its location.

A very clean and well appointed Hotel, perfectly situated only 2 minutes walk to the V&A Waterfront with all its restaurants, bars, shops and attractions. Our room was clean, spacious, comfortable and easily accessible. The staff were all welcoming, attentive and highly professional.

The hotel was OK. The can definitely put more effort into cleanliness. There were several strands of hair on the countertop from a pervious guest, the bathrooms are mouldy and the laminates/vinyl floors are old and worn and need to be retired. For the price of the hotel, it does not live up to the expectation.
