Richmond is an hour away from SUP Kentucky and an hour away from the Ark Encounter. city is big enough to have multiple restaurant options but small enough that traffic is not a nightmare

Room was clean, bathroom was clean and all public areas were clean. Staff were nice and friendly. Plenty of shopping and restaurants near by. Has a indoor pool, no outdoor sitting area but, we found some chairs behind the pool building. Didn't get breakfast here but, saw it was ready at 7 am. Bed was comfortable enough. A/C made some funky noises but worked.

Not so amazing. Needs a few updates. The luggage carts were rusted and hard to roll. There is a soft spot in the floor in the entrance of the hotel, has industrial rug covering.

This place is solid, but it was confusing that when, after booking, I still had to swipe my card for the few after arrival, after my information had already been confirmed the morning of. I will definitely be checking my account to be sure I was only charged once for the room...seemed very strange to me
