"Freezing room"

We got to the room & the thermostat said 59. It was only 22 degrees outside. I set the thermostat to 72 & on heat. We returned hours later only to find the room was 60. The vent was blowing out cold air. I called the front desk & was informed maintenance would be up. After, 30 mins of waiting I tried calling back to the front desk repeatedly with no answer. Finally, after 1hr & 45 mins I decided to go down to the front desk. (I didn’t want to leave the room because my daughter was in there & she didn’t want to stay alone. However, I also didn’t want us to both go to the desk & miss maintenance.) I get to the front desk & explain that it’s very cold in the room & we have to get up at 5am. I explained that we need showers but don’t want to freeze when we get out. The girl radioed maintenance & informed they would be right up. 10 mins later they show up. It turns out the previous guest complained it was too hot in the room so the heat valve was turned off. The men said the valve was on & we should be good. I also was informed that they never received a call from the desk the first time I called the man apologized even though it wasn’t their fault. The next morning we get up at 5am to head to a dance competition & again it was 59 degrees in the room. We were gone all day. When we arrived back at 11:30pm it was only 60. My daughter & I both slept in hoodies, pants, socks, & our jackets because we were exhausted. I emailed the company & expressed my issues as well. This is suppose to be a nice resort that I paid over $350 to stay at for 2 nights. I requested a return call back from the company to explain my issues but again no one returned my call. I don’t recommend this resort at all!

"Great getaway with amazing service."

The property was very clean, the staff was very kind, and the food was really good. We didn’t have to leave for anything. The service was exceptional.
