"Visit to the Whitney Peak Hotel Reno"

Overall a pretty good experience. The rooms were very nice and plenty of af amenities. Caution though; parking is across the street in a garage that you have to pay for. The other option is valet parking at $30. If you bring a pet, expect a $75 charge, but they do give you a pet gift bag. Breakfast is not complimentary, it will cost between $10-$20.

"No A/C in first room, had to move rooms at midnight"

Had to move rooms in the middle of the night because a/c was not working. It was 80 degrees in the room. Disappointed with how that was handled. No compensation offered for the complete inconvenience.

"Great place for families visiting downtown Reno"

We were very happy with our stay. Our family was there for the USBC National Bowling Tournament. The layout of the 2 bedroom King room was perfect for our stay and the meals at the Cafe Whitney were excellent.

"The Gold Star for Dog Friendly Travel"

We had a wonderful stay at this dog-friendly property and would gladly return. Traveling with our dogs can sometimes be challenging, but the hotel made the experience easy from start to finish. The property was exceptionally clean, well-maintained, and very easy to access from the main road. The room was spacious and furnishings were well kept. The staff provided outstanding customer service, always greeting us with a smile and making both us and our dogs feel welcome. One of the highlights of our stay was the food—everything we ordered was fresh, delicious, and exceeded our expectations. If you’re looking for a comfortable, pet-friendly place with excellent service, great food, and a clean, convenient location, this property is an excellent choice. Highly recommended!
