Whitney Peak Hotel Reno, Tapestry Collection by Hilton

Check in service was very quick and we were helped by a very courteous and friendly young woman that was so helpful and made our experience very pleasant. The location is fantastic - right in the midst of the downtown strip and a 10 minute walk to the ball field. Parking was just across the street from the hotel and was easy to access. Clean rooms and nice ambiance. The fan noise in the room (7th floor) was pretty loud but not an issue for light/medium sleepers. I wish there were more outlets in the room or at least one plug on each bedstand. I didn't see any at the desk either. We choose a rate with breakfast included and were pleased with the value and quality of the food. We'd love to stay here again and try the huge climbing gym and climbing wall!! One note - it didn't bother us at all on the 7th floor, South facing room, but the night club was pretty loud - I wouldn't want to be on a lower north facing floor.

This was my 3rd or 4th stay at the Whitney Peak. It's a wonderful location, with very nice rooms and amenities and great views from the higher floors. My dog also appreciated the goodie bag and the close by dog park.

Chill atmosphere, food was good - I do wish the lounge offered more than comp sparkling wine though…some low cost reds and whites would be a great addition. The bouldering and rock wall climbing are very cool and rare to see at a hotel!
