Spark by Hilton Lynchburg

The rooms were nice and clean as I can see it was being renovated. I enjoyed my night stay.

It's generally a best practice for hotels undergoing renovation or construction to minimize the impact on guests by keeping materials and construction areas out of view and away from guest areas.

Location. It was not too crowded

I was assigned a handicap room.Everything was fine but I could get the shower to work.

Appears to be being updated. Place was filthy. Paint cans everywhere. No trim in the entry. Elevator was filthy.

Staff was random at the front desk. Really not attentive.

The hotel is being renovated, so there were boxes all over the lobby. The check-in person was not friendly and I had to ask for basic information. When I asked for complimentary water bottles, I was told there was no water nor any vending machines due to the renovation. No water in the entire building! That is unacceptable. The room was outdated and had an unpleasant smell, but the beds were okay.

Appartently there is some remodeling going on. Numerous buclets of spacle were out in the hallway. Plastic covering on carpet due to remodeling on the floor we were on.

The hotel is still under renovation, so there was some construction atound, but the room was clean and comfortable! Breakfast not great, few options, but the room was clean and comfortable.

Just the contractors are over the hotel!!
