Rodos Palace Hotel

Excellent five star hotel! Friendly stuff and amazing facilities. My room was very clean and comfortable. The hotel is next to the beach! Great sunset and sea view from my room! I will be back soon!

something different from the other hotels. the new rooms are really exceptional and all the staff was very friendly and helpful. we recommend Rodos Palace to everyone it is a new fresh concept with the Abav2 lounge and the new rooms just perfect!

My spouse and I booked a 3 night getaway immediately following our wedding for a weekend Mini Moon. We stayed in one of the suites at Rodos Palace and from start to finish our stay was amazing. We were greeted with champagne at check in, sent complimentary wine and snacks to our suite, enjoyed complimentary (20 minute) massages), and had access to the hotel's special 16th floor VIP lounge), and enjoyed a private pool. The suites are just a minute's walk from the main hotel building (including the Abav2 VIP lounge), and both the suite and the lounge are fresh and renovated. The lounge specifically is completely new (completed Aug/September 2018) and we felt the love there. The two hotel pools (one indoor, one outdoor) are both clean and lovely. Wonderful staff and service! Good English, competently answered questions when they arose, offered help. Food: My spouse is a 'special' (picky) eater, so I can say with confidence that if she enjoyed the breakfasts 3 straight mornings it's gotta be good! Location: 15 minute cab to the airport, 90 second walk to the beach, 10 minute drive to Old and New Town, and about an hour to Lindos (our only day-long excursion on this trip - we rented a car from the hotel lobby quite easily). I know of friends who also stayed in the non-suites who also enjoyed, and we are happy to recommend the Rodos Palace Hotel and would be thrilled to stay there again! Upon booking I was confirmed a double bed. On arrival I was given a room with two single beds (not even next to each other). When I spoke to reception about this, I was told my only option would be to pay 40 euros per night to upgrade my room. Begrudgingly, I did this and was given a new room with a double bed. What I didn't realise at the time was that the new room was next to the three lifts and all I could hear all night long was the mechanics of the lifts making sleep almost impossible. The next morning I complained about this and was immediately told they would change my room. (They must have known about this issue). So I was now on my third room, which thankfully was a distance from any lift and subsequently quiet. This room however did not have a double bed and I was back to two singles again. I was so tired of changing rooms by this stage, I could not be bothered to argue anymore and gave in. (At least the beds were next to each other in this room). The hotel itself was quite pleasant, but a lot of the staff were less than helpful and at times verging on rude. I expect more from a five star hotel and would not stay there again.
