Rodos Palace Hotel

Close to the airport and as close to the sea as you possibly could be. Hotel is situated just off the main road in a region with several other hotels and extremely close to a number of local shops/bars/restaurants. Local beech is a stone one so if you're looking for sand, it's a short drive away. Free parking at hotel with plenty of overflow spaces during busy periods. If you don't have a car, expect to need taxi's to see any of the sites. Pretty quiet area as you are away from the hustle and bustle of the main city. We were on the 5th floor and the room really wasn't as bad as some other reviews mention. They are a bit dated, but clean enough and functional. The sea view rooms have a great view of the sea and sunset. We had half board and the food was pretty good. Enough variety but after a week it gets fairly repetitive. FYI they charge extra for drinks. Pools were really nice and clean. The sun beds get reserved up pretty early in the morning. Evening entertainment in the dome area wasn't for us. Generic family friendly singing/dancing etc. but it gets really humid at night. Internally it's a big hotel, fully air conditioned with lots of areas to relax in to suit different age levels. All together a nice atmosphere and would recommend bearing in mind the reasonable price.

The Rodos Palace Hotel was great! Breakfast and dinner buffet was very good with lots of choices. The staff were pleasant, very attentive and helpful. I would stay there again. There is easy beach access right across the street and some decent tavernas and super markets within a very short walk.

Our stay at Rodos Palace was disappointing to say the least. Upon entering our room, which was extremely outdated, old and musty, my son went to use the bathroom and the handle fell off. I went to the front desk and reported the problem at 2:45pm. At 6 pm, no one had come to fix the bathroom lock and my son subsequently got locked in. After 10 minutes, we were able to calm him down and With help and guidance for him out. I went back to the front desk, with lock in hand and the staff could have cared less. They were directing me from one person to the next. They finally sent me to a lovely woman at customer service desk who reported that the problem had never been reported in the first place. She was finally able to locate someone to fix the bathroom door, close to 5 hours after it being initially reported. I was so disappointed in this hotel and will never recommend it to anyone looking to stay in Rhodes. There are so many other hotels in the vicinity. Don’t waste your time or money on this one.

Loved the area, and the overall aesthetics of the hotel were fantastic

Amazing

Absolutely perfect. My only two problems were the food which was less than what you'd expect from a 5 star hotel, and the public transport (which is not necessadily down to them, yet had an impact on our stay). The room was lovely and great value for money.
