Hilton Garden Inn Kennett Square

I was not pleased that this hotel did not provide breakfast at the price of the hotel rate.

Blessedly quiet and comfortable. Breakfast was terrific.

The room was so spacious including the bathroom. It was very clean and the staff were super nice. We loved having all the conveniences like a microwave even though we didn't use it. I loved the shampoo, conditioner and bodywash so much I bought it online when I got home. The beds and pillows are always the most comfortable I've experienced.

Overall it was a great stay. The room was quiet, comfortable and clean. In fact, the entire hotel was spotless. Upon checkin though it was clear the hotel is dealing with some staffing challenges. I arrived around 7 pm and there was no one in the lobby, no checkin agent, no bartender at the restaurant, just a sign saying they had stepped away. After about 10 minutes I knocked on the door to the office, no response, about 5 minutes later someone finally emerged from the office to check me in. The next morning I asked for a 2 pm checkout so I could complete a work call and the hotel happily gave it to me which was very much appreciated. Everyone I encountered was friendly and I would definitely stay again next time I’m in the area.

The bed was comfortable and the staff was nice.

Road construction went on all night, therefore received very little sleep. The dining area was in the lobby where you check in/out which was awkward. We opted not to eat there. The so called complimentary bottles of water cost $3 each unless you were a Hilton member.
