North Conway Grand Hotel

The outdoor pool & hot tub were amazing! The hotel restaurant was a great atmosphere, spacious, and the food was excellent!

The indoor hot tub was out of order and indoor pool area kinda dirty

Love this hotel. Had dinner at the bar a few times. Food and service was amazing. Boyfriend loves the mountainy atmosphere. And fantastic location

Perfect spot for our young family of four. The hotel itself is cute and kitschy but nice and clean. The stuffed “taxidermy” and talking moose in the lobby are the perfect touch. The staff was amazing; very helpful, friendly and attentive. They really catered to our five year old, making her special drinks and really going above and beyond to make her trip really extra special. The breakfast buffet was perfect, had enough choices and the hours were perfect. The heated outdoor pool and hot tub was magical! I will never forget swimming in the snow with my daughter. The indoor pool and hot tub were not heated (I believe repairs were ongoing) but otherwise everything was great.

Booked a room with a hot tub. The tub did not work. Piles of shampoo, conditioner, water bottles behind tv stand. They had been there awhile. Front desk not much help except to say they were sorry. They did not refund the difference in room price. Even charged me the resort fee which they should have waved to offset room price difference. Have stayed here quite often in the past with no problems.

First time visit to the area and the hotel. The staff are fantastic! Very polite and friendly while also being very helpful! The spa space is beautiful, but would love to see a lounge area, robes to change into, and a place to rid yourself of winter layers while you wait, just to allow for a more relaxing spa experience! The fitness area needs some attention as more than half the equipment was broken! The selection of free weights, kettle bells, medicine balls etc. were decent but the equipment needs better upkeep. Maybe a water fountain within that space would also be great! The food at the tavern for dinner was delicious and fairly priced. The room was spacious and clean. Bed was comfortable. Always nice to have microwave, fridge and coffee maker available! Other guests unfortunately were lacking etiquette regarding others who may be there for quiet/relaxation as doors constantly slamming and generally quite loud outside the quiet hours, but that's no fault of the facility! Late morning check-out was a nice way to not feel rushed! Some areas obviously show the wear and tear, but the whole space is very well kept considering! Lots of shopping and restaurant options just outside the door and down the street! Look forward to a return to the area/hotel for further exploring and enjoyment in the future!

It was close to things

House keeping was very late and didn’t take dirty towels, didn’t replace trash bags, the breakfast buffet was terrible and wasn’t worth the money , the fresh fruit was bad and the he other stuff was over cooked. For the price you charge it should be better . The indoor hot tub was not working . The pools looked dirty. On one positive note …You have an amazing bartender, and night chief and some fun night staff that work in the night time restaurant.I would say thank goodness for them and a comfortable bed.

Make sure you check if there’s a hockey tournament in town! Unfortunately, there was when we stayed and we had kids on our floor screaming at the top of their lungs, playing football in the hallways, running up and down the hall until 10PM, and nothing was done about it when we called the front desk. Also make sure if you pre-pay for your room, there is NO reason you need to change your reservation. Even if you’re getting 2 feet of snow, they would rather keep your money and not move your stay because they “want to keep their policies consistent”. Cleanliness also isn’t a top priority. The fire alarm in our bathroom was covered in mold and the hallways smell like feet. Definitely recommend other hotels in this area if you’re looking to be close to the outlets.
