Empress Hotel

The location was fantastic! And the room was just what I needed; basic, clean, and safe.

I don’t love that I had to drop off my key each time I left the hotel.

They had hot water shower. Close to the sports arenas, about 1.5 miles.

The place was awful. There was no shower curtain so the whole restroom got wet. The rod where the shower curtain should be was actually burnt, not corroded. The mattress was one of those Amazon $100 mattresses and he was wrapped in plastic. There was a fridge but there was no Outlet to plug the fridge in. Everything was falling apart. The door knobs were Rusty and the plumbing from the sink was 100% makeshift. When we got in your room there were two cockroaches which we had to kill. The room had a strong stench. If I had my girlfriend with me I wouldn't be able to sleep there. This this place is slightly above sleeping on the streets. The place wasn't properly cleaned. In the restroom that was a lot of long women's hair on the walls. One of the days when I came back at night the roof in the restroom had collapsed. There was water everywhere. They moved me to a different room which was a tad better. It had a shower curtain. But it was facing their balcony and the lights in the balcony were extremely bright. I asked them and they said they couldn't turn it off. I felt like I was sleeping during the day. There was a tiny TV there. I turn it on to see if you worked. It did work but the speakers were busted.

Nothing

Room was abysmal. Bed was broken, metal frame dangerous… and we heavily stained. We left immediately and got another hotel. I would recommend they pull the hotel down. I wouldn’t even let animals stay there.

Location was decent.

Facility is literally falling apart. Everything was dirty; the mattress had tears in it that had been taped back together; the shower liner was stained and dirty; no hot water; the room smelled of mold and cigarettes; I've stayed at dumpy hotels and hostels all over the world, and this one was, by far, the most disgusting of them all.

The area had a lot drug addicts around!

The staff was rude and didn’t help like they should have.

Nothing at all

The room had roaches it smelled like someone died in it. The mattress had to be 10yrs old and flat the tub looked like it had not been cleaned in a week .I left within 30 min and was refused a refund. Clearly the worst expireence I have ever had.
