Homewood Suites by Hilton Mahwah

I recently stayed at this property to get away from the city’s frantic pace, and it was exactly what I needed. Monica Brosius at the front desk was the highlight of the experience. She was incredibly professional and went out of her way to ensure every aspect of my stay was comfortable and relaxing. It’s rare to find someone so attentive to detail; she made sure all my needs were met before I even had to ask. If you need a quiet, well-managed retreat, this is the spot. Thank you, Monica!

I would like to say, my experience stay at this property was phenomenal. Monica Brosius at the front desk was professional and courteous. She acknowledged I was a Hilton Honors member and made my stay relaxing and comfortable. She made sure all accommodations were met during my stay. The rooms were spacious.

The room was nice and clean.

The beds could have been larger. Also the Kitchen sink water did not get that warm. The dishes had a little bit of a residue on them and we needed to clean them however no dish soap was provided. The sink cabinet wood pieces were coming loose and we fixed them, but there was dirt underneath that I also had to clean.

Some hotel stays are good, others are great, this one is stellar! Monica exceeded her legendary attention to detail by paying attention to the details of the details! The way she engaged me was humbling. I am so grateful to her for being a leader in my eyes and in the hotel/hospitality industry!

I stayed at Homewood Suites by Hilton, Mahwah from January 2026 through mid-April 2026, and it was truly one of the best long-term stays I’ve ever had. From the warm welcome at check-in to the excellent room service and daily support, everything exceeded my expectations. A special mention goes to Monica Brosius—she was outstanding from the very beginning. From answering my initial questions virtually and helping me book my room to assisting with anything I needed during my stay, Monica went above and beyond every time. She’s a wonderful person, always ready to help with a smile. If I could give more than 5 stars, I’d give her 10 stars for her exceptional service and kindness!
