My room wasn’t cleaned

The staff were warm and friendly. Check in and out was smooth and effortless. I didn’t like that we had to go to Charlton for some activities. Some of the lights in the room were not working. The appearance of the hotel needs a refurbishment. Also you could here stamping coming from elsewhere and kept me awake all night

The swimming pool and the sauna close at 6pm which I missed it after me and my half where looking into it. Disappointing.

They would not let me check in a little bit after check in time

We stayed here as a family of 8 in 2 rooms Saturday to Sunday over the weekend for its good location,costing £150. The positives…use of next door hotel pools which was added bonus,rooms a good size ,very large comfy bed,great pillows,lovely man working on reception bar,very good breakfast. The hotel was nice but could do with some maintenance and a refurb. The negatives….Bottom of kettle was brown,room was very warm,parking was £35 from 9am sat till 4pm Sunday ,drinks were quite expensive £7 each beer or spirts. The second bed was a sofa bed which was tiny,with a very thin mattress,my 2 children struggled with its size and the small duvet that was on there,2 singles or double would have fit and been much more comfortable. We were woken at 4am by people screaming and shouting running up the corridors,banging on doors ,playing loud music doing balloon gas and smells of weed coming from a few rooms ,unfortunately this went on in the room next to ours so 4am was our wake up time because it was to loud to sleep. Also items were stolen from both ours and my sisters car in the car park,which “apparently “….wasn’t seen on the camera ??? Which I beg to differ,are cars did not leave the car park for the duration of our stay. We were given a free breakfast for the disturbance during the night but I feel this wasn’t enough compensation as it spoilt our stay completely,who wants to wake up at 4am on holiday with 2 children,the car park is not secure,there is no security,I went down to report disturbances 3 times and found no one working in the hotel at all. This hotel is an after party for big groups of people,do not take your families here for a nice weekend away.

Helpful at reception although our initial welcome was interrupted by other visitors one of whom was very loud.Bathroom was not that clean and cup marks on dressing table.Water was not that hot and took ages to heat.More power points needed.One was very hard to access.

Good location, staff are very kind and inside swimming pool is great. Value for money

Had great difficulty getting into the hotel as the lift was out of order. Told that we should have rung ahead to inform the hotel that one of us is disabled! So much for equality. Our room was absolutely filthy. Dead insects and grime on the window cills. A housekeeper was sent to our room and she was very good, Alison. Cleaned the room for us and apologised. Electric light wall fitting was hanging off with live wires exposed. The bathroom plumbing gave off a loud noise every couple of minutes. At 11.30 pm reception came to listen and agreed it was a disturbing noise but nothing could be done to remedy it until the following day. We barely sept at all due to the constant noise. The toilet wouldn't flush when it was used at 2 am. It was the worst hotel we have ever stayed at. Checking out the following morning we were offered a 20% discount. Insulting to say the least. Asked to see the manager and was told she wouldn't be in until Tuesday (this was Sunday). We have since received a full refund. We won't ever go there again.
