Gateway Inn

This was easily one of the WORST hotels I've stayed in, and I travel quite a bit. The advertised amenities were either minimal or absent: the breakfast consisted of a few cold cereals and only 1% milk, plus plain bread for toast and the worst coffee I ever tasted. The pool did exist, but it was not filled NOR cleaned - it was a giant slime pit more than a pool. The room itself was filthy, with visible spotting on the bathroom floors and wasps nesting outside the door. The TV was on a set volume (couldn't adjust it) and the bed was possibly overused and broken since it sagged into the middle. It was in the middle of nothing and nowhere, a likely truck stop on the highway. If it had been properly represented I never would have booked it and I advise anyone considering it to move on.

Booked 2 rooms for my daughter and her college classmates as they needed a place to sleep after driving for 12 hrs. ONLY place I could find with openings and was able to get 2 rooms for less than 1 at other hotels. The drive in was exactly as described - out of a horror movie. Place was in need of repair and not the cleanest BUT it was a place to crash for the night.

I didn't expect 5 star, but I did expect a CLEAN room and internet. The carpet is dirty, I was unable to use internet too slow to do anything. When I sat in chair I found a used razor.The bathroom was not cleaned well has mold in shower, urine stains on floor not mine.

No hotel facilities, but great small Italian restaurant 1/4 mi away (Nino's). Best food! Motel dated and not for more than travel night.

This place was terrible. The carpeting and bathroom floor were disgustingly filthy. The bath towels were old and small. The bedding sheets were old and the blankets were so thin they were not effective in keeping us warm. We went back to the room after check out because we forgot something and found the toilet bowl cleaning brush in the regular sink. The staff was also not friendly or helpful.

when i saw the pictures on expedia i was so excited about having the queen bedroom with the jetted tub in the room.. while i was on the phone with expedia they conformed the room had a jetted tub and that the pool was 24hrs.. i paid over the phone.. My gps brought me to a road with nothing around but trees( at 12am)and i continued down to find a hotel that looks like ppl go there just to commit murder or suicide..it already had the caution tape!! i was scared to get out of the car.. my husband got out with me and the man told us that there was no pool and hasn't been for 2years and none of the rooms had a jetted tub.. he even admitted the photos are of another hotel just to get business.. there were four other families in the lobby cursing out the man in the lobby over it.. me and my husband called expedia and told them there was no way we could stay and the agent told me that they were getting other calls also about it.. and without further delay refunded us our money.. do not book run/click away fast

The rooms and grounds were in poor condition. No restaurant as advertised from the highway. Breakfast was toast, coffee, dry cereal, and instant orange juice. A family member received what seems to be flee bites from her bed (they do allow pets to stay in rooms).

Super easy on and off of 95. Good price, clean beds, comfortable furniture. No vending machines and the pool harbors bull frogs. Cheap old TVs and mildewy bathtub caulk. Nothing special except for the skinny little neanderthal carrying a holstered gun and crow bar waiting outside the parking lot in the morning. Cleaning crew protection I presume! weird!
