We pick this hotel because it was rated above 3.5 by the reviews. We were disappointed by the yellow towels (not white) and the dirty carpet. For examples: We insisted to keep our slippers to avoid walking on the floor. We also were not sure when we use the towels if they were clean or not. Some had stains and in general they were almost yellow, not white... The bed was clean and comfortable.

This Econo is in desperate need of cleaning and a overall facelift. My room wasn't swept; there was literally dead bugs visible on the carpet. The walls of the bathtub were grimmy and the towels were dingy and wore thin. If this Econo can not raise its standard, then it shouldn't charge anyone over $40 per night.

the hotel is on a rough dark dead end road, and coming upon it after 9 PM alone at night was a bit intimidating, especially because you cannot even see the hotel form the start of that road. once inside, however, it was a surprising comfort. My issue was the horrid continental breakfast, with the worst coffee I have ever had, stale cold cereal and oatmeal but with no obvious way to cook that oatmeal.

Great stay except the bed felt like sleeping on a cotton ball. Breakfast was lacking!

Horrible !!!!!!

Room was good when we needed it. Clean, close by to Richmond when race was rained out, and cheap.

cheap last minute stop

When I arrived hotel room then I just hungry. I checked where near restaurant but only one Nana's Pizza there no delivery then I have pick up it!

The front desk was very nice and helpful. The room was dingy, everything, moldy smell, filthy bathroom, and extremely filthy / moldy shower and vanity area floors. The fridge in the room was noisy like a tractor trailer so we had to disconnect it for the night. The towels might have been white 10 years ago, but they are no longer close to being white. Entire place needs a lot of bleach and heavy scrubbing. At the checkout our complaints were answer with ignorant OK OK whatever.

Chose this location for a one night stopover based on a "good" rating. Several reviews indicated it was a clean place for one night. Not so, this place was dirty and had no service. They advertised a 24 hour front desk, but the lobby was locked at 2AM. It took quite some time to wake up the attendant using the doorbell. Finally, greeted by a groggy employee, the check in process was done through a tiny slot under the "teller's" window. The bathroom floor had a black "traffic" stain from all previous guests and the rug and furniture were just as dirty. The bathroom fixtures were rusted and dirty, the water had a yellow/brown color which left stains in the sink and toilet. Needless to say, we didn't dare use the shower. Room had a dirty coffee pot and no alarm clock. At 7:30AM, again the lobby was locked, no attendant in sight. Checked out by shoving the keys under the teller's slot. Free breakfast? No sign of that either. (No loss, I wouldn't have had it anyway.) Do yourself a favor, and stay elsewhere.
