"Poor management. Not handicap accommodating"

I rarely write reviews for businesses but I feel very passionate about this one. I booked a handicap accessible room 3 weeks in advance of our stay. My son is a double leg amputee & needs a handicap accessible shower. I received a confirmation stating an accessible room. An hour before we arrived I contacted them on another matter & confirmed my room. At that time I was told we have a regular room & no accessible rooms available. I was told it was a computer error on their part. I disputed this all the way to corporate & the manager at this hotel refused to give us a refund or any compensation for this inconvenience. I wonder if they treat all handicap people this way. I do not recommend this hotel, especially if you encounter an issue that management is not willing to fix.
