Hotel Healdsburg

Great hotel in the heart of town, walking distance to great restaurants. I loved how open and spacious the entire building was including the rooms. Also, the lighting in the rooms was wonderful! Finally a light and bright hotel room with plenty of different types of lights.

Wish there was a little bit more lighting for getting ready for a wedding.

This lovely, modern hotel was the host hotel for a wedding we attended in Healdsburg. We had a wonderful 4 night stay at this centrally-located gem of a hotel, which is located on the main square in Healdsburg. Everything you need is walking distance away. Our room had a view of the square, and it was roomy, comfortable and the bed and pillows were excellent. Bathroom had a separate shower and sufficient counter space. The hotel bar, and Jason the bartender, worked out well for us and we enjoyed our nightly cocktails there. Valet parking and continental breakfast are included. If you're staying in Healdsburg, this is the place for you!

We spent a lovely long weekend (4 nights) attending a wedding in Healdsburg, and this hotel was where most people stayed. It is a lovely property, with a fabulouus location right on the central square of Healdsburg. Our room was spacious, with a view of the square, and there was plenty of closet and dresser space for clothing. All amenities were modern, with a large walk-in shower. (Water pressure wasn't great.) the lobby/seating area is comfortable, and we enjoyed visiting Jason, the bartender, most evenings.

This is a great hotel. Unfortunately many of the guests get stupid drunk and party to 3 am. This is not effectively managed at the hotel. Hallway and front door traffic start at 6 am which you can hear in your room. Would recommend only if you are ok with limited sleep. Plan a few days after at home to rest before you rtw.

Tasteful decor, very spacious rooms/bathrooms, comfortable bed, convenient location right on Healdsburg Square.

For the high price, breakfast should be included. In addition, our street-facing bedroom was very loud starting at 6 am with cars and buses. We were also handed our key upon check-in and left to find our room by ourselves. Not the kind of service one expects from an expensive and reputable hotel.

Partner and I stayed 5 nights (Early October) in a "Premier King" room on the 3rd floor facing Healdsburg Avenue. Hotel and room were both pleasantly quiet and clean. Concierge and car valet service both excellent; front desk staff young, distracted and not hugely helpful. Breakfast selection and service both excellent. Lobby bar area serves a subset dinner menu from adjacent Dry Creek Kitchen - so when we didn't feel like a 3 course prix fixe at DCK we noshed in the lobby which was fine. Hotel also hosts small wine tastings in the lobby - I tried a new (to me) vineyard called "Croix" and had the chance to sip some new wines in a very informal setting. Location is walking distance to a range of good dining options. Also next door to the Plaza square which has shops, and in particular a nice bookstore where I found a good SciFi paperback for flight home. For hiking - Fitch Mountain an 8 minute drive; Lake Sonoma ~ 20 minutes; and Sugarbush Ridge near Santa Rosa, a 45 minute drive. All easy drives, and passing lovely vineyards to pop into for an impromptu wine tasting. All in all, this we found this a low-key and unpretentious option for staying in a very fun part of the world. When next in Healdsburg, would most likely return here.
