Argo Hotel

Easy to find, staff very extremely friendly and accommodating for late check-in. Rooms were very tidy with everything you could need.

Conveniently situated for port of Piraeus, ideal for short stay. Bedrooms clean with good facilities, breakfast adequate with lots of choice. Staff extremely helpful and friendly. We had to stay unexpectedly due to flight cancellations back to UK, but would certainly stay here again, if circumstances arise. One problem - mentioned by previous reviewers, bedrooms do need sound proofing, especially if neighbours are noisy and inconsiderate. Also tea, coffee making facilities would be nice in room and perhaps a small fridge to keep bottled water.

It was fairly close to the Ferry Port. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. They only provided us with a bed sheet, no blanket. We did not ask for a blanket so not sure if they would have provided it. Also, the walls are super thin. We could clearly hear the people talking in the room next to us, which was very disturbing.

The room is small, but has al you need, VERY clean ( thoughout the whole place actually ). Close to all the activities by the port that I wanted to do. The staff is friendly & helpful too !

We stayed here the night before a ferry trip to the islands and it was the perfect stopover point. The room was basic but nice with a small balcony. It was a little strange that a cot was set up in our room without us asking and we had to try and maneuver around it. The only down side was the shower was so small! I am quite tall so couldn’t really bend over to wash my lower half, I wasn’t upset and actual we found it quite funny! We would stay here again, even for longer next time.

Argo Anita is a budget hotel in Pireus, but can be a smart choice, if you're not willing to pay extra cost for staying in Athen. Athen downtown is just 15 minutes by car, but Pireus center is just steps from the hotel. Th accomodation is nothing special, but correct, clean, and have a free parking, and good wifi. Perfect for some overnight before you go to the islands. My negative impression was my first room that I get. I dont't know why, but the recepcionist gave me the worst room in the hotel - small, dark, no window. After my complain, I got a correct room with balcony, I really don't understand, why do they want me to have a bed experience in a really pre-season, when the city and the hotel was almost empty!

Ideal for getting off bus from airport and close to ferry port for trips to the islands. Very clean with complimentary toiletries. Reception area safe and covid aware. Friendly and helpful staff. Will stay here again.

Excellent stay, clean property and rooms, staff very helpful. Perfect spot if you travel by ferry early in the morning.

The hotel is cheap and clean, good enough for one night before an early ferry. It's 10-15 minute walk to the port, so you might want to get a taxi if you have a lot of stuff.
