Argo Hotel

They gave me a room in front of the lighting sign. I couldnt sleep at all

The hotel was Convenient for the port and close to the bus route from the airport. The rooms were comfortable, clean and the staff were pleasant

Slight tattiness in corner between wardrobe and wall (Room 16}

Hotel was Good value, only real downside was the bathroom, toilet did not flush and as there was a sticker on it with a Red Cross I guess they already knew the issue but used the room anyway, shower was tiny and not very good. Check in great and staff very helpful.

Being close to the port was wonderful, and it seems like a small thing, but having a message chair available after 4 days of walking was wonderful! Room was clean and we had no issues.

A good room for a great price. Perfect for staying one night to travel from Piraeus Port the next day like (I guess) most of their guests do.

Rooms are very small, I was told I was upgraded although it looked exactly the same as the one I booked. Staff was aloof and when I asked for my receipt they told me I had to get it from where I booked, which they looked confused when I asked if it was through Expedia. You can keep your luggage for the day but at your own risk. They don’t monitor the luggage room and let anybody go in and out. This is something that should definitely be mentioned prior to booking.

After an almost sleepless night at a hotel in the very noisy nightclub area of Piraeus (believe me it's like having a loud speaker held up to your ear till 6 a.m.) - bad weather had suddenly forced mass evacuation from the Cyclades and all hotels in Piraeus were booked - the Argo Hotel, which I'd booked several weeks before, was the perfect remedy. We stayed in a superior room, decidedly comfortable with a balcony view towards an impressive church, though incomplete due to other buildings in front. The bed was probably one of the best I've ever slept on - my lower back knows a good bed from a bad one! A spacious reception area and helpful staff made the stay welcoming. The Argo will be my choice next time.
