Argo Hotel

Close to pireas port. Just 4 min by car to gate E8 which goes to the islands. However it didnt have mineral water, napkins and shampoo we had to bring them ourselves

We had a receptionist who was very hostile. We had our ferry on strike and went to the hotel and asked if we could book a night on the day and cancel one night (as we had a pre booking), which was still 2 Days in advance. Her reply was that it was not possible to book a night as they were fully booked because of the ferry strike, which is fair enough. However she insisted we could not cancel 1 night of the 2 that was still two days ahead. I said you are making a lot of money on the ferry strike and you can still not cancel 1 night with two days notice? She said NO and was upset.

The hotel is not a fancy hotel but has what a person needs for a nite or two stay and is walking distance to the ferry gate which was exactly what I was looking for. The gal at the desk was very helpful and checkin was very quick.

We stayed in the superior double room, which was very clean and comfortable. The hotel is close to the train station and the port. The one and only negative about our stay is that the room has very small balcony. I will definately stay there again!

Great hotel for a one night stay. Room was clean and receptionist was very friendly. We would be happy to stay at the Argo Hotel again.

Good reliable hotel well located for the ferries.

Good location to the port. The hotel staff was extremely helpful. They offer a breakfast and a ride to the port for 8 euro. They explained exactly where my boat was leaving from, I would have been very confused without their help. I would definitely stay again :)

A basic hotel with excellent staff. Proved perfectly OK for an overnight stop - with very late arrival - before catching a ferry

Room is too small for us and the air conditioning not very strong.
