Comfort Inn Philadelphia International Airport West

American Airlines put us here because late international arrival caused us to miss connecting flight. The staff was indifferent, the shuttle bus was dirty and driver unkempt, the hotel is run down, the room needed total refurbishment, chairs dirty, windows dirty, bathroom tiny . Hard to believe Choice Hotels would lend its name and reputation to this property or that American would use it for its clients to whom it has caused a significant travel delay. American’s C Suite executives should see and review this property and others so they will know first hand to what it subjects its customers when it cant keep a schedule.

I liked the proximity to the events I was attending, the bed was comfortable

Bathroom had no towel bars,no hooks for a robe, no shelf space for toiletries, the water temperature in the shower was either all hot or all cold, no adjustment possible, even after I reported it to the front desk so had to duck in and out to shower to avoid too hot water. The metal contraption to hang clothes had a bar only halfway up, for shirts/pants and no way to hang a dress. The room was next to the elevator, the bell sound from the elevator as it arrived at each floor was too audible - need better sound proofing. No maid service on the weekend (they said) but I arrived Thursday, and there was no maid service then, either, just a plastic bag with towels on the floor outside my room when I returned Friday evening. Kleenex was stuffed and hanging down in the peephole in the door. Breakfast was included, I didn't want to put that to the test, ate elsewhere.
