"Wasted money"

I booked a night through Booking.com, and had to cancel it when my car went into the shop. I contacted the booking site, and they contacted Red Roof Inn on my behalf. Twice. Red Roof never responded to them. Booking.com said I should contact the property directly at that point, but when I called, they wouldn't speak to me about it at all. I couldn't get there because I had no car, and I was never refunded any portion of the $115 I paid. I will never book this hotel again.

The staff were nice and helpful. Bed was comfortable. Area was pretty.

As a solo traveler with no car I found it too far from amenities. Had to catch numerous Ubers which is costly. Property is a bit basic. Tea and food heating making facilities would be great.
