The minute I walked in I knew I should have turned around and walked out. But I had a very sleepy and yes crabby one year old with me so I went ahead and paid for the 2 rooms I reserved. The mom and her son went to their room which was very dingy and dark. I left they stayed and took a nap. She called me an hour and a half later he son was wheezing and stuffy and could hardly breathe she had also pulled back the comforterand there was hair in the bed. We decided to leave and go elsewhere. I went to the front desk and made them aware of the situation I didn't mention the hair as there were peopleseated in the lobby and it would have been embarrassing for them and i honestlydidn't know if it was an isolatedincident. I only asked for a refund for one of the rooms at which time the clerk told me she would have to speak with her manager, she would get back to me. She never contacted me and when I contacted her she hung up on me after she told me that they would refund 20 or 25 dollars. This whole situation was completely uncalled for. And after reviewing my debit card I saw that they charged me for 3 rooms and another 25$ for I have no idea what. So that was my experience at Days Inn Cedar Falls Iowa. I wish I had taken pictures I feel like it was at one time a decent place. It had a fake outside wall (hard to explain) but the outside looked fine but when you actually went into the room it have you the feeling that the door you were entering was at one time the actual outside door. I don't know just a mess an ugly place to stay with such a strong odor of air freshener you got nauseous if you breathed it in long enough. I know this is a long review but I am really upset about the way they treated me and charged me for 3 rooms instead of 2 and another 25 for whatever.

There was nothing to like here.

This location was disgusting. I never took my shoes off and I absolutely refused to sleep under the blankets. It was not clean in any way. Their rooms are advertised with pictures that aren't of the actual rooms. There are no windows. Instead you get 2 floor to ceiling windows that look directly into your room from the hallway. The "AC" unit is ran from your room, through the hallway, to the outside, and is not efficient at all. The TV is ridiculously outdated and struggled to work with the direct TV its hooked up to. My family and I took one look at the breakfast and walked right out the door to go to mcdonalds. I would rather pay than eat what they had. This was especially disappointing because the "queen" size beds were extremely uncomfortable and none of us slept well. They were also small enough that my 7 year old could lay across them and his feet hung off. Hes 4 feet tall. Stay away. This location needs to be condemned.

The smell is aweful. It’s dirty and I wouldn’t sleep there
