Residence Inn by Marriott Lakeland

I have been staying at this hotel twice a month for almost a year. The staff is all very helpful and friendly. Sylvia at the front desk is very friendly and efficient. She remembers everyone’s name in our group of 6 and all of our room preferences and makes the check in process very quick. She is one of the main reasons I enjoying staying here.

I would like to thank the staff at the residence Inn by Marriott for always making my stay comfortable and very peaceful. They always tended to my needs and wanted to give a shoutout to Dane, Sylvia and the the lovely curly hair lady:) thank you so much

The room was clean and the amenities were nice. We had a nice, quiet evening. Staff was friendly!

Gray overnight stay for a baseball tournament. We loved the pool and had so much fun at the stay. Breakfast was very very yummy. Parking was easy and the late check out was nice. The bed was comfortable.

Staff made all the difference!! Everyone from the front desk to the maintenance man were super helpful. Dane and Tuesday at the front desk went above and beyond to make our stay amazing!

When the Weather Channel said the Tampa area would receive up to 10ft of storm surge from Hurricane Ian, we started looking for a place to go with our pets that was a safe distance from the water but not all the way to Orlando. We settled on Lakeland and after a few clicks of the mouse on the Marriott web site, settled on the Residence Inn. The first positive thing that happened is when we decided to go a day early and I spoke to Tuesday at the front desk who made it happen. Up on arrival, Dane (sp) and Mr. Carter made us feel right at home. Mr. Carter was styling with his bow tie and even in the face of the storm, everyone had a smile on their face. Two days later, Mr, Carter lost his bow tie but still had that smile going. I don't think he ever left the property as he was always at the front desk greeting guest and keeping everyone calm. The staff and property was first class all the way. Clean and efficient. Good for the pets with a special little dog run out back. The room was not large but the kitchen made it perfect for home cooked meals. As the storm raged around us, we were safe and dry. Overall, not an ideal trip because of the storm but the hotel and staff really made us feel special. Thanks Team!!! PS. Good breakfast and coffee greeted us early every morning as well. Nice touch.

Front desk very attentive. Suite was clean and complete. We brought our dog and requested and recieved a room on the first floor and by an exit. Staff was very friendly. Dog friendly dining choices are within walking or short drive. Next time in Lakeland this would be my choice.

I stayed with my dog and was given a room close to an exit with consideration! The room was clean, big, and had everything we needed!

We stayed with large family for wedding. Since we hadn’t seen anyone since Covid we took over the Resuddnce Inn meeting in lobby for breakfast and using pool. Sylvia (front desk) and Luz (breakfast) were beyond amazing!!!!!! Thanks for making our stay amazing!
