Residence Inn by Marriott Lakeland

Clean room. Staff was super, especially Dane who helped us check in and made us feel comfortable our entire stay

Unable to check-in until almost 80minutes after check-in time (4:20pm) ... when asking for an upgrade to make good for this problem we were told we could pay to upgrade. Not acceptable for excellent customer service, in my opinion. Hotel was just average but for a premium price.

Good clean and quite hotel in a great location.

I am a titanium elite member so I frequent many different types of Marriott hotels. The Residence Inn - Lakeland was a perfect hotel for us to stay for a week. Our daughter used the beautiful pool every day while my wife and I worked on a "fixer upper" that we purchased in Lakeland. The hotel is very clean and the breakfasts were great. Dane Gallion and his staff made sure that everything ran just as it should. The Residence Inn is luck to have someone like Dane in charge!

Staff was extremely friendly & helpful. Room was very clean & comfortable. Breakfast was great- would definitely stay again!

Stayed 2 weeks as a wandering (senior) snowbird. Many attractions in Lakeland, this hotel was well located. Breakfast offerings were slim and meh. Located adjacent to a walkable mall with many good restaurants.

I often stay at this location for business and every time I feel well taken care of. From check-in to check-out, Sylvia always makes our stay a pleasure with her professional courtesy and wonderful personality.

I am lifetime Titanium with Marriott, and have almost exclusively stayed at Marriott properties since October, 2007. We have stayed at this property 4 times: July, 2019, November, 2021, July, 2022, and October, 2022 Each time, we were there to attend a church meeting in nearby Lithia, FL. Comments (tactful but honest): 1. Service: All have been friendly and helpful. However, I get the feeling this facility is understaffed, especially during the last 2 stays. 2. Rooms: We've always gotten the room we wanted and it was in good condition and working order. I will say that the bathrooms, especially the tub/shower could be better maintained. 3. Food: In summary - a 1 in 10 rating. I've stayed at many Residence Inns over the years, and always there was a nice hot breakfast offered. In the 2021 stay, it was what they called a "grab and go". We'd have done better to go to McDonalds. In the 2022 stays, they had one lady (whom I doubt spoke english) heating up frozen sausage/egg biscuits and other food items that seemed to be of the similiar nature. If they'd been of the quality of say "Jimmy Dean" brand, it would have been acceptable. However, the biscuits were "spongy", and we took the contents out to eat. Only the oatmeal seemed to have actually been cooked. We had stayed at the Residence Inn in Tallahassee on the way down, and they offered the traditional Residence Inn breakfast. But, this property has gone beyond cheap in 2022. Summary: If there was a Residence Inn closer to the church, we'd stay there. I hope these comments will serve to improve the services offered to the customers. God Bless!

Sylvia provided us with great customer service. We are having a great experience and would highly recommend this hotel. Next time you are in Lakeland you should check this place out. You will not be disappointed
