Bit pricey on concert night

The room was spacious and comfortable. We enjoyed using the gym facilities.

The meals were a bit pricey but the food was excellent.

Staff were very attentive and went out of their way to assist me where i needed, got upgraded to a penthouse suite, which was nice, the view of the river and location is gorgeous. Best seafood chowder I've ever had, Would go back for that alone.

I didn't find the bed or the pillows very comfortable, also the linen wasn't as hight quality as you'd expect in a 4 star hotel, although breakfast was nice and loads of options, I found orange juice being very syrupy and weird, these are just a few criticisms, I still had a pleasant stay and I would stay here again.

Gorgeous location on the river the backdrop was stunning.

Extremely overpriced. We were charged €601 from booking.com for two nights without breakfast included. We then saw the same room on booking.com for €466 a few days before we were due to go. When we raised this with booking we were only given €82 back in a credit voucher to use on the website for future bookings instead of the €135 that was due. The hotel itself charged €42 for a strip loin steak with a few chips and pub side salad if you’d call it that. We went to the residents bar on the Saturday night and it was overrun with loud intimidating customers which apparently happens every Saturday as they live close by. The reason I booked was because there was a spa and outside pool. The thermal suite wanted an access fee of €40 per person for one hour even though we were guests!! The heated outdoor pool was lovely but the changing rooms were grotty the toilets were disgustingly dirty and the staff on the desk made us feel like we were trying to scam them. We had just checked out and had asked can we use the pool as our train wasn’t for a few hours the receptionist said absolutely no problem but when we told the girl on the pool reception she asked did we have permission from the hotel! It put a bad taste in our mouths and then to walk in to dirty facilities it just wasn’t a great end to an already overcharged stay. The room was lovely can’t fault it except the carpets were dirty and there was no fridge again for the price we paid we’d expect that.

Loved everything about the hotel. The staff, the room, the bistro sitting out by the river Lee.

There was nothing to dislike

Everything was wonderful. We had a lovely room on the first floor. Close to the spa. The outdoor hydro pool was an added bonus. Breakfast was lovely plenty of choice at the buffet or you could order from the menu. The breakfast is well worth it.
