Il nous a manqué un espace apéro face à la mer, pour profiter de la magnifique vue avant ou après le diner

Bathroom is a bit tired.

This hotel was recommended by a friend who had been recommended it by a frequent guest of the hotel. It is ideally located and only a short transfer from the airport.It has around 35 rooms and is beach front. The single story hotel is a quiet and relaxing venue with the emphasis on service and friendly staff. I witnessed the return of several couples who were welcomed back and were familiar to the hotel staff . The location is good with a few beach bars a short distance away too. The rooms were well furnished and good amenities. overall a good experience .I would recommend it if chill and relaxation is wanted. I was advised by staff that the hotel is closing for several months in 2026 for refurbishment.

Most guests are couples or older travelers, which adds to the calm atmosphere. - Boutique hotel experience: Small hotel with few rooms, allowing staff to know guests personally and offer very personalized service. - Lovely check-in experience: Welcomed with complimentary juice and a detailed explanation of everything. - Thoughtful touches: The hotel smells amazing, rooms are refreshed with nice fragrances, and candles are lit in the room and garden in the afternoon very cozy and romantic. - Beautiful room setup (ground floor): Ground-floor rooms come with private gardens. You can enjoy stargazing directly from your room or from the beach. Although the garden area is accessible, privacy is well handled the glass is non-reflective and curtains are provided. - Fantastic location: Located at the start of Cenang Beach, perfect for evening walks along the beach or nearby market areas. - Direct beach access: Rooms are right by the beach with direct access (not private, but very convenient). - Great breakfast: Combination of à la carte and buffet, with excellent fresh fruit, local Malaysian dishes, and made-to-order options. - Nice facilities: Pool with a small jacuzzi, gym, and an optional cooking class with the chef. - Special gestures: Staff go above and beyond, including birthday surprises at breakfast for guests.

- Early check-in can be difficult: Especially during peak season due to the hotel’s small size, though they offer alternatives like complimentary breakfast or relaxing in the lounge. - Older furniture: The hotel is a bit old, most things are fine, but the bathtub showed signs of age. - Insects: Expect some insects in the room or garden due to the natural surroundings. This is normal in Langkawi, and the hotel provides guidance on how to manage it.

Wonderful location, calm atmosphere, beautiful rooms and the best service!!! We reccommend, if you can, the beachfront rooms ❤️

The room was very comfortable, great view across to the sea. Lots of little extras - biscuits, nuts, extra towels. There was a printed newspaper on the breakfast table. The staff were so friendly and helpful. The food was very good

It was a lovely stay with a breathtaking scenery and helpful staffs! Can't wait to have our anniversary next year in Casa Del Mar!

Not a place for family, they charge so much and give rooms next to noisy shacks. There are not enough tea bags and barely any milk in the room. They want you to only have tea once a day. Anything more and they make it feel like it's a tall ask, they count everything. Despite asking for more tea bags, and being told we will be given, it's one hour and no one has come with additional tea bags. These are small things that make a hotel great or pathetic like this one. Do yourself a favour and don't spend so much money on this stingy hotel,who dont know hospitality.
