The Cordova Inn, a New Hotel Collection Property

I've stayed here several times because I enjoy quirky hotels and am often in town for work. This time however I was slapped with an extra almost $70 (resort) fee on top of the several hundred I had already paid. Upon booking there was no disclaimer that this fee had been added or I would'nt have booked. I was told this was for parking, maid service and security. I ubered so i didnt need parking and I never request maid service during my time nor have I ever seen any security during any of my stays here. This fee is more expensive than Orlando resorts, LasVegas strip resorts and NYC upper class hotels. If you want to charge extra then put some love and care into the actual hotel, for example, my room this time round had wall paper peeling off and it had been taped back to the wall with duct tape. The shower was rusty with no hot water. I did'nt have a trash bin and I found empty dusty water bottles rolling out from under the bed. I could have stayed at the hilton down on the bayfront for a better price and NO RESORT FEE.

The room was comfortable. There was construction in the lobby and hallway so it was hot. The cafe/bar was wonderful!

5/5 Eli made us amazing espresso martinis. Ariel and Taylor were amazing. Ariel told us a little history about the building and a few things about the new one. We are extremely excited to see the new addition! Best hotel in saint pete. They work as a family and it’s very relaxing to be around.

Came in and Austin P helped me out with a coffee and the front desk girl ariel was really nice and I loved her friendlyness and customer service.

Went with a few buddies and had some questions about a few things about the hotel. Guy named Slavisa was very knowledgable and helpful answered all of our questions with no hesitation. Staff is very kind and hospitable would recommend to others!

It’s so refreshing to have a place like this in Saint Pete! Such a great environment to socialize and meet new people! Taylor at the front desk was so professional and Austin F at the bar made a killer martini!

I had an amazing experience at The Cordova Inn in St. Petersburg! The property itself is beautiful—full of character, charm, and that unique historic vibe that sets it apart from the typical hotel. The location is perfect for exploring downtown, but honestly, one of the highlights of my visit was spending time at the bar. Austin P., the bartender, was fantastic! He made every visit to the bar something to look forward to. His drink recommendations were spot-on, and his attention to detail really impressed me. You can tell he knows his craft and cares about making sure every guest has a great time. Friendly, professional, and just a great person to talk to. If you're in town, don’t miss the chance to stay at The Cordova—and definitely stop by the bar and say hi to Austin. He truly helped make my stay memorable!

I love this hotel. The vintage vibe is one of a kind. The staff is great and friendly especially the young man at the front Slavisa. What a charming guy. We will be back.
