Hampton Inn & Suites St. Augustine-Vilano Beach

Room was clean and the breakfast was average.

We requested a balcony room and had received the patio. Thought we would be viewing from a balcony the ocean, but instead viewed a construction fenced in area. The hotel was clean. The staff was ok, but I guess I am use to the Drury which the staff seems to go out of their way to make sure we were happy. I was also very disappointed in not being able to get a receipt from the hotel at check out time. I was told I would have to get the receipt from Booking.com So my overall experience would rate this hotel as an average.

The room was great! We did not have a "view side" room, but we could still see the water from our balcony! (Awesome bonus). The beds were comfortable. The room did not have a weird hotel stench and that is always a plus!

The breakfast was not so good. I liked the banana walnut flavored waffles okay, but my husband said the other breakfast items were nasty. (He is not super picky when it comes to eggs, etc., so for him to say that, it must have been bad.

Closely located to beach and facilities.

It’s February so no indoor pool, but that is minor.

Location was awesome; room was great

upon arrival and checkin it was made very clear even blunt that if our dog barked we would be asked to leave
