Residence Inn Boston Andover

This is a GREAT place to stay! Updated, clean and makes walking around Bar Harbor so easy. No need worrying about finding a public parking spot and paying for it.

Bobby was the most rude person I have ever met , we complained about roaches on the first night asked to be moved and there was no other room after we packed up all of our stuff to be moved, and after that they had it out for us and Bobby kept calling and saying their receiving multiple complains about noise at 5pm and 6 pm on a Saturday afternoon and Sunday daytime, he called multiple times. My family and I were traveling Boston and this was the most normal priced hotel so we weren’t here very much only to sleep and get ready and leave again, also I have a 5 year old daughter. They sent someone up to complain that we’re being loud when the floors are paper thin and I can hear my husband talking though the floorboards . Bobby called yelling on the phone and was screaming at my mom in the front desk the second day in saying he would call the cops if we got complained on again and that there were multiple people Complaining. The only nice person was the manager and after she said that was unacceptable behavior and said she’d talk to Bobby there was no more complaints and she said there was in fact not multiple People complaining. . Bobby is the most unprofessional and disrespectful person I have ever seen as an assistant manager. If I owned a hotel he would’ve been gone a while ago.

I liked to the location of the property. Its literally close to everything and the fact that there is a whole kitchen.

The room was not clean properly. The room smelled like dog urine. There was spiders around the room and tub was getting clogged.

Friendly and helpful staff. Having the kitchenette is always helpful! And the location puts you close to many options.

Starting to get a bit old and beat up. Time to refurbish the rooms and hallways! The first floor hallway was a bit musty smelling.

I was promised one price over the phone directly by hotel staff, but my bill ended up being higher and the staff would not honor the price I was quoted on the phone. The room was dated with torn and worn carpeting, a broken clock in the bedroom, dirty grout on the bathroom floor, and evidence of mold starting to grow in one corner of the bathroom.

Room was nice very clean. A/c wasn’t working so I was quite warm in the room. Had a strange smell like fried foods other than all that we had a good stay,food was great employees were nice and helpful pool was closed due to it being still cold. But anyway I would recommend this if you are planning to stay one night not multi I don’t think I could stand that smell another night.

Some of the things in my room were broken. For the life of me I couldn’t find the front office from inside the hotel.

Absolutely gross stains on the carpet the whole floor smelled like curry the tub had a ring around it. Soap dispenser in shower totally empty mold in bathroom…. Never again
