Royal Solaris Los Cabos & Spa - All Inclusive

After 15 years as a member of the Solaris resorts, we appreciate the excellent friendly and familiar staff year after year. Alfredo takes care of our immediate needs at the front door on our arrival with recommendations for our local experience. To be honest Socorro and Tomayo are the staff we spend the most time with. They are great bar tenders and and deliver tasty variety and consistency every time whether we are poolside or in the members bar in the evening. Food at Solaris is… well let’s just say we sometimes love it, but can always find something we like. Breakfast with a view of the water is the best and is good every time. Sometimes we get to see whales

Raul was the most amazing bartender ever, honestly an amazing guy and made me look forward to the pool ever single day! He deserves the best!

We picked this hotel based on all the positive reviews, however, it is just average. Pictures and the video on their website can be deceiving, it’s a 3 star hotel with less average food! I pick the hotel specifically because of how clean people raved about but it is also less average, and all the public bathrooms have sewer oder! Staff are nice and courteous though.

This is a hard review to write and grade as I have been to many all inclusives and know what I really like. So I’ll break down by the number of stars I would give for different areas: 5* -The resort is beautiful!!! And very clean! -The pool -The overall resort area is small which I love. It makes it easier to be able to access everything and feel more like a community -Great resort for kids (we didn’t have any but did appreciate how kid friendly it was)-has a water park and kid specific food -The specialty lunches served by the beach bar 4* Food-the buffet is Small but the food served is good. It could be refilled more timely often. The Italian restaurant was awesome and the Chinese was very good. Loved the coffee shop in the morning! A huge plus -fresh pizza made by the pool and the snack bar which was also open during the day 2* -The beach -it was beautiful but had small rocks so was a rough sand. The worst part, you could not go in the water. The water was rough and waves were huge. You couldn’t even see the edge of the water from the resort you had to walk down to it which was far and the sand was HOT. 1* -Chairs by the pool-I had to be down before 7 and the last day at 6:30 to be able to find any chairs. Almost had and witnessed a fight over chairs. The staff pick up towels left before 7 from people who left them earlier. When those people come back, they get angry if you are in "their chair” Sorry but there was nothing there! The resort needs to find a way to improve that. People just need to stay with their chair but they don’t -Access to the pool-the first step is so big it’s really unsafe. No way for anyone with limited mobility to access the pool with lots of help. -The tile around the pool also gets very slippery! Staff are constantly wiping it up but still unsafe. I saw at least 3 people fall -Lots of stairs -they should all have railings for safety and to assist people who need it -Lack of outdoor seating at night. The lobby and show area is totally inside. I escape the winter to be outside! I would recommend having an area outside with table and chairs near the lobby so people can be outside and still be close to an area that serves drinks

Many things need improvements, but Alexander at Zai, Alberto (botones), Romi at the pool, and Socorro at the members pool bar were amazing!

We came to the royal solaris on a family getaway, and we are beyond pleased with our experience. Our kids are 9 & 7 and are already begging to return to this exact vacation. We ate at Marco Pollo and had Palma as a waiter; he was the best! So kind, polite, professional and fun. He made sure we were comfortable and got anything we needed. Even brought out a special ice cream plate for our 7 year old, teaching him the word ‘Gracias’. We highly recommend visiting all of the lovely restaurants, everyone who works here is lovely and welcoming.

Excelentes instalaciones, muy limpias, cómodas, amplio, la atención y amabilidad del personal, su sonrisa y disposición para hacerte sentir a gusto, muy serviciales y dispuestos a ayudar. Mención especial para Guillermo en la zona de Bar de la piscina, Luigi en el restaurante buffet y Óscar en la seguridad de la playa. Las personas dentro del bufete en la zona mexicana, delicioso y muy amables. También la persona encargada de los omelette en la mañana. Aunque la playa no es sumergible es muy bonita la vista, puedes hacer actividades en ella o sumergir los pies muy en la orilla. La zona de la piscina tiene muy buen lugar de esparcimiento, sin embrago el piso del fondo y el baldosin se siente grasoso posiblemente debido al protector solar de los clientes. Es una lástima que las canchas de tenis tienen horario de apertura muy temprano en la mañana lo que perturba el descanso. Como los cuartos están al frente de las canchas éramos despertados a las 7am por los gritos de las personas que se encontraban jugando. Los horarios del restaurante buffet son amplios para desayuno, almuerzo y comida; sin embrago esto hace que se presenten dos situaciones: que la comida se reseque, se ponga dura y fría, y por otro lado los alimentos, quesos, postres, etc que se van acabando, con frecuencia no son surtidos de nuevo. En general el hotel es muy recomendable y su relación costo beneficio es muy buena en cuanto a las instalaciones; no se puede decir lo mismo de la comida, algunos platos muy ricos otros por su preservación no tanto, comparado con otros lugares de México todo incluido el precio está elevado

Our family had a fantastic week at Royal Solaris. The resort is very family friendly; we enjoyed the kids selection in the buffet, the kids pool and waterslides and evening entertainment geared towards family enjoyment. Everything shuts down quite early and it was quiet aside from weekend events (still shut down early and with doors closed it was quiet). It was a bit tricky to get reservations for the à la carte restaurants at times that work for little kids, but we enjoyed Panchos. Rooms were clean and quiet, although could be updated a bit. The resort was well located and easy to head into town or just across the street for shopping and dining. Overall, we would stay here again!
