Anchorage Downtown Hotel

Hotel room was very small, even by uk standards, with nowhere to put anything and nowhere to sit. Very basic breakfast in small lobby area, not enough seating or choice as only cereal or bagels/muffins therefore nothing available for a gluten free person other than an occasional banana. No receptionist available one day resulting in a couple waiting over three hours to check in and another customer waiting the same time to access his luggage which he had left at the hotel following check out. The hotel did not seem secure although we had no actual problems, and on the plus side it was very quiet at night.

We always want to support small and local businesses. Although small it is walking distance to just about everything.there is nothing modern about this hotel. The rooms are small with private bathroom which is a plus. As most small B&Bs have shared bathrooms. For the location and convince. Greay place for one or two days

I needed a room to stay in the night before the Moose's Tooth marathon. This hotel was "inexpensive" compared to the other hotels in the area, but it was still pricey for what you got. The hotel was clean, but old. Bed was old and squeeked getting up at night, but there were amenities like a new flat screen television and a coffee maker in the room. I'm told there was a breakfast, but I had to leave early so I did not partake in the breakfast. They do have a shuttle to the airport, but the intake clerk and driver are one in the same, so you may find a note on the door. Kathleen checked us in and was very pleasant and friendly.

Visited the hotel twice while leaving and returning via anchorage. Staff is very helpful. Airport shuttle service and short-term luggage storage was provided.

We had a below level room. The floor was wet. Smelled of mold.

The room was very small, the bed however was comfy

There was no air conditioning in the room. The one window opens up to an interior corridor. It was so hot in my room on the third floor. I had the fan going on high, but had an uncomfortable night sleeping. I didn't like that the room did not have a deadbolt on the door. It was clean and the bed was comfortable. The location was good. Free parking was a plus.

Really small rooms could have been improved upon a lot with new bedding. Otherwise, you'll have what you need for overnight stays. Breakfast before heading out was nice.

The location of this hotel is central to downtown and the price is attractive. However, the front desk is not always staffed and the complimentary airport shuttle seemed unreliable. We booked the shuttle the night before to go to the airport at 11 am. By that time, there was no shuttle and no front desk person until 11:45 when we had to choose to take a taxi.

the hotel is a hostel we were booked for 3 days. sweated until 1:00 am in morning. they had a ceiling fan with 12 inch blades. took them the keys and said thanks.stayed 1 night . the stay was horrible.
