Del Mar Beach Hotel

What a find. This is the best location in Del Mar. Directly on the beach with the hotel providing Charis, Umbrellas and Towles. The rooms are recently redone and have everything a traveler needs.

We loved the sunning deck area looking at the ocean. Chairs and towels available for the beach. Great location to walk to dinner, park and enjoy the sunset.

Train noise takes getting use to at night.

Absolutely enjoyed the back patio . It truly felt like our own private beach .

The parking but I will say they have provide a great alternative if parking is not available.

I had no expectations for this day but everything was about as good as it could be imagined. The rooms were beautifully renovated and extremely comfortable. The view from the patio to the ocean was exceptional with the sunset right in front of us each night and the Del Mar life guard stand right next door And surfers always up-and-down the beach. There was also a very short walk to 2 excellent restaurants. I highly recommend it to others and would go back in a minute if I had the chance.

Everything, really, everything!! The location is fantastic, all you need to do is walk a few steps and you are at the beach. Restaurants, shops and a beautiful park were right there by the hotel. The hotel was very clean(don't forget it's in front of the beach and dog friendly) and it was spotless. They also offer delicious coffee from an espresso machine free to their guests, that was amazing!! But the best of all it's the entire staff, I have never ever had this great experience at any hotel, it's not just some of the staff that were nice, every single one of them were absolutely pleasant, genuinely nice and helpful. This place is a true gem!!
