A lot of bugs in the room, we didn’t get any beach equipment because everything was checked out everyday.

No ocean front rooms

This is our third time staying here and has become our favorite California vacation spot. This beach front property is so perfect for families who want quick and direct access to the beach. Quick and beautiful walking distance to the village and great restaurants. The rooms were immaculate and so clean. The staff are always friendly and helpful. The complimentary sparkling rosé upon arrival is a nice touch. The complimentary espresso bar is my husband's favorite. My kids appreciate the complimentary boogie boards. We can't wait to come back.

Just a few minor suggestions that I think would elevate the hotel would be room darkening shades on the windows that you can pull over the shutters at night. And/or a way to dim or turn off the outdoor porch lights in front of the room. It's so bright. I feel like a curtain would also dampen out the noise of the train. And to work on the water pressure in the showers. Our two rooms water pressure were quite weak. Besides that it's still a 10 out of 10 for us.
