Middlebury Inn

We were mostly satisfied with our stay. We had a problem finding the check-in entrance (had to make several trips around the block). It was somewhat awkward having to pass thru the dining area to reach the check-in desk. The clerk, who checked us in, was very polite & helpful. We were not told that we needed to make a reservation for the restaurant in advance. Luckily, we were able to get a table in a timely manner. Waitress misplaced our meal voucher, but was able to check our reservation & verified that we had paid for the bed & breakfast package. Waitresses were very busy, and worked really hard to see to everyone's needs.

Dissatisfied with the overall experience at a historical hotel that I've been fond of all my life. I grew up in MIddlebury and attended Middlebury College. I was looking forward to returning.

My prospective student and I were visiting Middlebury and stayed one night in the Annex. The rooms are huge, almost feeling like a suite, and beautifully kept. Couldn't have been happier. A few steps from the main building, where we enjoyed breakfast, coffee, and just relaxing in the lobby. And only a few more steps to the adorable Middlebury downtown. The Inn was a great location for our stay! Staff all very friendly and helpful, too.

Quite a dingy property, does not do the charming town justice.

Pleasant one night stay In Middlebury. Inn is comfortable and central to the town and college campus.

This hotel was in the heart of the city, well appointed and had a friendly staff.

Everything was first rate and at a reasonable price.

We booked it based on the marketing photos with anticipation we’d be in the bread and breakfast. The old hotel and that breakfast would be included. Upon checking in, we were shown our room in a motel in between the two older buildings. And breakfast was not included. The front service was unclear and terse if not just a little bit rude. I’d be leery of staying there, even though the town was fantastic. It was not the value reflected in the price.

Our room was updated with a jacuzzi! Staff was very polite and welcoming. They were very helpful with information about the area. Had a great stay!

A classic Inn, great location, pleasant staff. We enjoyed the town of Middlebury and would come again.
