"Good spot for an RCI property"

Given the fact that most RCI properties are subpar Grand Pacific Palisades is nice. The location is close to the beach and shopping but you will need a car. The area is noisy. The highway and noise on Saturday nights from the event space behind the property may be a consideration for some. The units are nice and very clean.

"25th wedding anniversary vacation."

The entire staff was professional and friendly during our week stay. Our 2 bedroom condo was upgraded to ocean view when we arrived at no extra cost. The condo was very very clean and looked just like the pictures. The resort property is beautiful and daily we went for long walks. We played many of the games there at the resort and had a great time together. This resort isn’t far from the outlet mall, restaurants,beaches , San Diego Zoo and San Diego Safari Park. We had a peaceful time and it was the perfect get away and time well spent together. We will be going back in the future and would recommend this resort. It’s around the corner from the Carlsbad airport. While we were there in January 2026 the weather was great.. daytime 75-78 and evenings 58-62 degrees. Not bad because a big snow storm was happening in our city while we were there. It was a beautiful vacation!!!!

Close to a restaurant. Nice lobby and patio

Long walks to rooms and dysfunctional elevators. Basement parking is poorly designed and getting to my room was a challenge.

"Great stay at Grand Pacific Palisades across the street from Legoland California"

This resort and location is so great when staying for a Legoland visit! Surprised that we didn't hear more about this place before a friend told us about it. Literally a 5 min walk to Legoland (through a side gate near the front entrance) which makes it so easy to go back for a rest during the day. The rooms are HUGE! We had a 2 bedroom condo which was almost 1200 sq feet. Full kitchen, 2 bedrooms and 2 full baths. Cannot beat the price point for this amount of space. Also about a 30 min drive to SD Safari park, which was very easy to get to from GPP. We have stayed here twice now and will always stay here when visiting Legoland again. Tentative staff, promptly responds to text messages and helpful in lobby in every way.
