Grand Pacific Palisades

OK usual RCI booking clean. Bring your own robe if you travel in winter as we did. Skimpy towels. and sauna or pool for adults may be a block away. Broken faucet repaired promptly. Missing amenities replaced by cleaning crew when approached. Not enough luggage haulers we did not have one to use. People probably just left in front of their rooms, not sure how to encourage them to return to basement? 2 adult ladies found unit quiet and we had a good time in San Diego. Place is close to freeway so you can hear the freeway roar if you happen to open the patio door. OK digs

Rise at the front desk and our housekeeper Norineli are awesome! Rose was very friendly and welcoming. Our unit was spotless and well made! Maintenance has done an amazing job with the upkeep and attention to detail. Thank you all for a great two night stay!

We've stayed here several times over the years and each experience gets better because we've continued to upgrade our room. This time we had a two room suite which was plenty of room but the bathroom was not off the bedroom, but off the living room. We had two balconies and a great view of the pool and ocean. One afternoon while we were trying to nap they were playing loud music at the pool. The best thing about this hotel is the location. You can walk to everything and it's right on the water. It's really best for families with children and is primarily a timeshare but has a hotel. No restaurant on site but so convenient and the little coffee shop across the courtyard is excellent and so convenient. Good parking garage. We had a mildew smell in our room and left the sliding doors open all day and night to avoid the smell. There were roughly 30 in our group and several others had the same complaint. Believe the secret is to ask for a top floor room. I did mention it to the desk clerk and was told that's how it is at the beach which tells me they are not trying to mitigate the problem.

We loved staying here so much. It was within walking distance to Legoland and had so many fun amenities for the kids.

Had a great gentleman check us in. The woman who worked the register on the right side should probably not be your customer service person. Checked all the boxes but condescending and rude with a smile. Bothered I was asking questions and hoping to pass me off anywhere where possible. Loved the room, amenities and all else. She took up head space on a family trip for a bit and that was annoying.
