The Ritz-Carlton, Doha

The Ritz Carlton says enough! From start to finish this place was over the top!! The staff is amazing!! And the decor is WOW!! The pool staff as well as the cigar lounge staff was over the top! I can go on and on but like I said it’s a Ritz Carlton and that says enough!

As a former Ritz-Carlton employee this visit was meant to be nostalgic for me. After having stayed at the St. Regis Doha, the stakes were high. The experience far exceeded my expectations. Alim (housekeeping), Faisal (front desk), Jenny (guest relations), Miku (guest relations), Mohamed (front desk), Salaheddine (breakfast crew) and Tina (guest relations) were all a-ma-zing. They live and breathe the Ritz-Carlton credo. Their hospitality feels genuine, next to the fact it is high-end. Thank you very, very much. Would definitely recommend.

The Ritz-Carlton is not just a fancy hotel, its an emotion that you feel the very first step you enter it. You feel valued, treasured, special,as if you are their most honorable guest. For me it feels like se second home. The service is exceptionally perfect and when something requested its done instantly without much waiting. I mentioned that its my anniversary and they suprised me with baloons, card and cake. I dont know any hotel that could outshine the Ritz- Carlton. I am always super happy during my stay and that is how they earned my loyalty. A special recommendation which I tried out for the first time was the Spa services. The therapist Hope made the best foot massage I ever had in my life and besides being pregnant with swollen legs, she managed to take all that pain away. Well done to Hope. Do not worry about value for money, because very soon you will realize that the experience you get is priceless.

Excellent service. Huge variety of food at the breakfast buffet (my favourite was coconut yoghurt and mix of berries 🤣🫶🏻) and during the dinner. Stylish Rooms. Vast territory with adapted beach zones and pool zones. I want to highlight the work of the butler service - all our wishes and requires were quickly executed. I would like to share with my exceptional experience of stay in Ritz Carlton Doha. I am a representative of hospitality sphere and the same hotel chain. All the staff me and my family faced during our visit - absolute professionals, sincere employees and just good people. I can 100% ensure you that this level of service cannot be taught, this is there lifestyle. Starting from doormen and security on the front drive, ending with the housekeeping and guys on the beach. 10/10, wow. My applause.

We just returned from a multi-day stay at the Ritz Carlton and were thoroughly satisfied. The biggest highlight was the exceptionally friendly and attentive staff – that truly made a difference for us! A special thank you goes to Raihan from the Lagoon Restaurant, Sophia from the spa , who always greeted us with a smile and was most helpful in finding us all the necessary equipment , and Foster, who took great care of us at the beach and transported us back and forth in a golf cart. The spa and gym impressed us. Everything was modern and well-maintained, including a dedicated women-only section – a fantastic extra. The indoor pool was perfect for swim training, which we made good use of. As we traveled outside the peak season, the hotel was pleasantly quiet and not crowded – a relaxed atmosphere we thoroughly enjoyed. All in all, a wonderful stay. We’d love to come back!

Having travelled out to Australia for just a few days we decided to opt for a stay in Doha to help cushion the travel zone body confusion a few days later on the way back and my was it worthwhile. I have no doubt there are many other great hotels in Doha but some we looked at on line didn’t look the grade when we passed them in the flesh. Some were adjacent to major roads, over run by jet skis or sandwiched between others in a way the literature never said. Not so the Ritz Carlton ! Variously overlooking Marina / Bay / City, in its own large well maintained grounds it gives impressive views from impressive bedrooms. The beds are dreamily comfortable and quickly helped us re synchronise our body clock! We ate there in the main Lagoon Restaurant and they get the 5 star nod for the talent of their chefs and kitchen team. Immaculate tasting and looking treats and a choice that left you eager to return. Seafood themed night a stand out, all reasonably priced ! As always a thing of beauty needs the right staff team and they have it at every turn : the valet/ reception team, front lounges staff, chamber staff, spa, pool / beach team ….- none were found wanting. I will mention three but at no detriment to others. Both Wafae and Eric led the restaurant teams with great flair and professionalism injecting energy and a perfect degree of personal engagement. Thank you for the travel tips ! For us Linda @ The Lagoon Restaurant was also a smiling helpful face who made us welcome and attended all needs leaving a lasting imprint of Ritz Carlton happy hospitality. Thank you . The gym was awesome helped by the indoor lap pool. Bye bye jet lag ! We will be back with so much more to do, although dragging yourself away from all the hotel offers itself will be the challenge.

Did he flat out lie? Well, I can’t prove what he believed at the time, so will refrain from calling him a liar. Being a Titanium Elite member, I requested a suite upgrade. He falsely claimed that none were available. I pulled up the app and tried to make a booking for the same dates and showed him how many suites were available to book. He did the classic “Oh, the app is not updated with the actual availability” excuse. So I said if I go ahead with the suite booking now, is he sure that it won’t get booked? And if it did, would the hotel refund me the money (as it was pst the cancellation time)? He went quiet, which is when I realized that he didn’t want to give me the suite upgrade. The problem with this Ritz is that they don’t let you forget that THEY are doing YOU a favour for the opportunity to stay in their hallowed hotel. But save for the breakfast staff, the other staff were anything but welcoming/friendly. And behind the opulent facade, you see signs of the hotel being dated/in poor repair (eg the shower fittings are so old fashioned a la Victorian style, the toilet seat in the spa was broken…). Would I stay here again? A definite no!

A very luxury couples winter holiday in Doha. The Ritz Doha lives up to, or even exceeds, the expectations of the Ritz-Carlton Hotel name. Upon arrival staff are extremely attentive, providing an amazing stay. The rooms are very spacious and beautifully designed and decorated; they have a homely, yet luxurious feel. We opted for Half-board service; breakfast, although minimal, was one of the best hotel breakfasts I have had. With outdoor seating, this made the breakfast experience even more enjoyable. Dinner, again although minimal, was up to an amazing standard. The hotel also has the famous STK Steakhouse which is a must visit. The location of the hotel is perfect; taxis are extremely affordable, and a buggy is available to drop you to the nearby Mall. The private beach is again one of the best private beaches with a peaceful atmosphere yet a beautiful city view. There are again buggy’s available to drop you; however, it is only a short walk from the pool. Be mindful that visitors are advised not to walk from the beach to the pool through the lobby. Overall, our stay was phenomenal and we would highly recommend a visit to Doha.
