Barceló Maya Riviera - Adults Only - All Inclusive

This is third time I visit this facility, this is what I saw so far this time: A decrease in facility conveniences: Buffet closing at 6:00 pm. This was a major inconvenience having to go to other restaurants at other hotels by walking or having to take a bus to Dine. The exclusion of food at the specialty restaurants. The variety of food was not good, food did not look fresh at the Buffet (sometimes we will find some food still frozen from previous day) We went to rent or use aquatic attractions (never had the chance to, the staff was either at lunch, or they say that the weather conditions weren’t great with no wind and no cloud in the sky) Bartenders hiding premium alcohol behind the bar (very upsetting and did not feel like the money was well spent on premium level) Lack of personnel at the pool bar (there was always the same bartender the whole day having to attend dozens of customers delaying the service and quality of time. AC stopped working first day and they have it fixed at 21 C which after a long day under the sun and being in a tropical weather we found it very high, we felt hit at in the room and sweating in the mornings. Last but not least: Promoting vacations in dictatorship regime countries such as Cuba were people are dying because of the lack of responsibility of the government that lucre with tourist money to oppress their people, and the hotels, conditions, service is BAD Overall not very happy with the experience, this is last time I visit Barceló

Very clean property, friendly staff, delicious food, very rocky beach. I recommend it if you like swimming pools.

The resort itself is stunning—modern, clean, and beautifully designed with gorgeous ocean views everywhere you turn. Our room was spacious and comfortable, and we loved the little details that made it feel special. The staff deserve a special mention—they were always so warm, attentive, and willing to go the extra mile. Dining was another highlight, with so many delicious options to choose from, and every meal felt like an experience. The pool area and the adults-only atmosphere made it the perfect place to relax, recharge, and truly enjoy our vacation. We left feeling refreshed, grateful, and already talking about when we can come back. Highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for a mix of luxury, relaxation, and great service. 🌴✨

Todo me encantó, la instalación, la limpieza, todo pero sobretodo la amabilidad, y el buen trato de todo el personal que hacen que este lugar sea excepcional, en los 7 hoteles, ldesde los que limpian, los que sirven, en la recepción, todas sin excepción, solo tengo una sugerencia muy importante, que tengan servicio a la habitación incluido como en otros hoteles

The service, drinks and food was terrible. Ur party rooms all of them has some issues. The buffet was until 6pm only afther that you can go only to speciality restaurants, only few of them where good the bestone was the Caribbean, and ur server that was the best employee of the entire hotel the rest just trash. Pool was dirty most of the time, the beach really bad. The entertainment to loud, like to loud lol. Also we cant even use water bicycle. Cuz personal was trying to force customers to rent the jetsky, and other things they have. So we coulnd use the free water entertainment stuff. Also if you want to rent a jetski you need to be there before 11am or have to wait until 3pm. Thats stupid. And also ot was far from ur hotel and pool.

100% will be staying here again, very clean, pool is HUGE, drinks are amazing! 10/10
